POV cuz why not: You want to visit albedo today since you been caught up with work thanks to Kaeya who will never do his work by his own...but...this morning you fall into water just because a boar push you when you try to catch it. Not only that, when you are out on flower picking some cecilia at starsnatch cliff, a bad storm came so suddenly it drench your cloth. On your way back, you got caught up with some annoying hilichurls attacking you and snatch all the cecilia you pick before just for albedo. To sum it up..today is a bad day...the sun is almost set and you still at nowhere near dragonspine...a dark path to dragonspine seriously not a good idea. Now you dont feel like going up there but you havent seen albedo since forever. Even sucrose told you albedo start to ask about you which is a rare thing. " come on...i already go through so much today...there's no way things can go worst right?" Oh sure it can..you got chased by big ice slawachurls on your way to albedo camp and got lost in the snow after that. You dont wear such thick clothes earlier so the situation got even worse. Sucrose was being blatantly honest with you. And to be honest, it actually hurt. You've tried to get into alchemy because you're so passionate about it, you find it so oddly interesting but you never succeed with any research, no matter how hard you tried. Not even a minute had passed when you heard a voice, too familiar to be a coincidence. "I'll put you on high heat!" A fatui pyroslinger. You clasped onto your hydro vision and your polearm standing up. "Let's get this over with." you said, following by a very annoyed 'ugh'. What you didn't see was his company. There was around seven fatui skirmishers gathered, your guests-- or rather-- you were their guest. You attentively put both hands on your polearm, your feet separated, making an alert stance. The fatui pyroslinger was slayed first, since he was weak to your hydro attacks. But the others... the others were stronger. You fought restlessly for what had to be forever, dodging most of the attacks they threw at you, but of course, you got hit. Several times. You felt yourself getting weaker and weaker by the second. 'I'm not going to make it' You thought to yourself. But then, suddenly... "Live!" Albedo. It was Albedo. The alchemist came to save you, the absolute failure of sciences. Your eyes started forming tiny lakes again, water came out of them, you didn't even make a sound. You grabbed your polearm again and fought alongside your companion. It was after a bit that the fatui finally decided to retreat, most of them defeated. "Why did you..." you huffed, agitated. "why did you save me, Albedo?" "Well, you were in trouble, and I care about you, so of course, I had to save you." the blonde explained. "You don't look at your best, Y/N, what happens to be the matter?" Tears flodded your cheeks, your throat was clogged. Albedo was too puzzled, he just stood there, in front of you, unable to do a thing, watching you crumble into pieces, he was hurt seeing you like this. "My apologies, I'm not.... quite good at comforting people when it comes to emotions." You nodded in response. You knew about his origins, it was no surprise his lack of emotion or empathy, but he tried his best. "But, if it's of help, you can tell me what happened and perhaps I.. could try and aid you" he offered. "W-well" you sniffed. "I've had a pretty terrible day if you ask me..." You narrated your story to albedo, tale after tale. From Mondstadt's crafting table to where you're sitting at now. Once you finished, Albedo let out a soft chuckle. "Bad days like these happen." he began. "Although I can't understand why you're upset, I know it hurts you, I can see it. I've had several days like these before, Dragonspine is no safe place either so coming here won't be of help unless you're in my camp or somewhere you know you'll be safe. If you want, you can show me your alchemy research, I'll be happy to give you any sort of advice, and since it's you who made it, I am certain that I will be more than pleased with the results." Albedo's words cheered you up, at least a little. He wasn't great at comforting, sure, but it was something, knowing that he cared and that he genuinely thought that you were enough gave you motivation. However, this still didn't stop you from being anxious, what if Albedo's expectations of you were high? You decided to pay no mind to it. Albedo was right. Bad days like these happen, they're common. "But..." he continued "In the end, blizzards and storms are followed by sunshine and rainbows, always. Even here in Dragonspine from time to time, the sun rises, there's a fairly nice view of it, I guarantee you that." He sat beside you, and his cold, yet warm embrace filled you with a massive wave of relief. You hugged him back. "Thank you, Albedo" you whispered softly into his ear over his shoulder, still in the hug. "I'm happy I was of help" he replied, not letting go.

Y/N slumped onto the chair in the Favonius library, Albedo, who was sat beside the depressed knight, looked up from his notepad. He then immediately started to sketch on said book. He stole an occasional glance and used his photographic to form the pencil drawing. He stood and ripped the page form his notepad, before placing the paper in front of the sulking knight. He exited as Y/N lifted their head, noticing the paper. It was faced on the blank side, a small note was in the corner,’𝑆𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑒, 𝑖𝑡 𝑠𝑢𝑖𝑡𝑠 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑚𝑜𝑟𝑒.’ It was from Albedo. Flipping the paper, they held they’re breath as they looked at the sketch. Pencil and ink lines emphasized the shadows and lighter parts of the implied sunset. The snowy scenery of Dragonspine surrounded a grinning figure, Y/N assumed it was supposed to be themself. Smiling widely, they held the drawing to their chest. Albedo had succeeded in bringing that smile back onto their face.

Back in your former world, you had simply crashed on your bed and slept as you were exhausted from the constant duties an adult has. The last thought you had continued revolving around your head like it was said in a cave and the echoes bounced back and forth on the walls, " I hate this world . " Bending over to grab the watering can placed below the stall, you paused and gave a bitter smile at the flashback. Your eyes then drifted towards the majestic and large building placed in the center of Mondstadt - the Knights of Favonius headquarters. Your room wasn't warm. The last time you checked, the weather was cold and frigid. Winter was entering the country, so how could your room be warm? Your eyes had forced itself open when you heard birds. There were no bird in your neighborhood. You never heard nor seen one before. The harsh, waking rays of the sun hit your eyes that caused you to close them back again and hover an arm over your head. Gently sitting up and reopening your orbs, you came to the realization that you weren't in your room. The dread only filled you up when the thought processed properly. "Oh, YN!" You knew that voice very well. You turned towards the voice with a huge grin. "Hello, Amber! You're on patrol right now?" "That's right!" Amber chirped and looked at you from head to toe. Confused, you asked her what's wrong. "You look very Mondstadt-y now compared to when you first barged in the doors to Master Jean's office." was her answer. You remember that very well. It took you three months to accept that you're never going back and that you were stuck here. He always seemed to want to talk to you. The opportunity rose when you we're called by Lisa to hand Albedo some books. The start of your friendship was weird. After you had brought him the books, Albedo had stopped you and asked if it was okay if he were to study you. You knew about alchemists and their natural curiosity for things they deem new so you agreed. You both then managed to be in a close relationship. That then blossomed into something more intimate. "Oh... right. Yeah." You laughed, a sheepish tone laced within it. Amber then waved you good bye and went on with her day. You, on the other hand, kept thinking about your life back in your old world. It was tiring, but you missed your loved ones and wondered throughout the whole day whether or not they felt the same. You missed the things you considered normal that you had thought of as boring, you missed the taste of the everyday wind, the food you love, and all of the mundane events that would occur everyday. Until the moment where you closed the doors of your flower shop, you felt down. "YN." His voice made you melt and you did just that within his arms. You hummed a tune-less tune and buried your face on his chest. Noticing that you didn't feel good, Albedo moved you closer to him and stroked your hair. "Busy day?" He asked, holding your hand and gently tugging you towards the couch. Rubbing your eyes, you gave him a wistful smile. Albedo sat on it and patted his lap. Taking the clue, you sat on them and curled up on his chest. A few moments later, you heard him sing. After it ended, the room was filled with a comforting silence. "Hey..." He was the first to break it. You looked up and felt your heartbeat when you look at the expression on his face. He looked at you like you were the most precious thing ever. It made you feel better. "Wanna dance?", he asked. Your lips crept up to form a grin as you nodded. Lifting yourself off him, he held your hand and pulled you close. The scent of chalk and books greeted your nostrils. Home. You felt like you were home. Albedo swayed you back and forth in an intimate and calm dance. "Hey Albedo." You murmured. His chest vibrated as he hummed. "I love you." There was a pause in your moments and from him. Fearing that you said something bad, you were about to look at him to apologize but a hand pushed you back to your former position. His chuckle was sheepish. "You can be very weird sometimes.", he told you. "Excuse me? Weird? You should look at yourself." "I'm an alchemist. People who don't study alchemy are weird to me." "Hey-" You pulled yourself off him with a pout. You two looked at each other. He was blushing, a fond smile gracing his lips. It was then your turn to blush as you buried your head on his shoulders. The two of you stayed in that position, your hearts beating as one in a pace that was faster than the gentle patter of the rain on the window. Times like this makes you feel that it was destiny's choice for you to be kicked out from your world and to end up here, in his arms.

A short pov because I just really think Albedo could really help with this sort of situation I have sometimes [ There may be a few cutoffs but that's because I likely had to pause before continuing to write ] You didn't hate people you really didn't, neither did you like all of them, it's just you distant yourself by accident or sometimes willingly sometimes. It just happens. Your mind was always already overflowing, but often you had moutians of towels to cover help soak up some if it, but theres times when more is added and you get deeper into your real emotions and you just suddenly distant yourself. It's something you've always did and couldn't help which leads to people getting confused, angry, upset just they dont understand. Your friendly, your a genuine good person! Half the time... But either way it just overwhelms you. So you often take a hike up dragonspine with your reindeer. Well that's the only companion you can and always bring, cause you know? Cold. Reindeer? Yeah that. Well there a good companion! Fur thick and warm which makes the seem toasty. Antlers ready to defend the second danger interferes. Just as curious as a scientist. And quite the funny one sometimes. Either way this trip was a way for you to clear your mind. You had been up in the moutian up and down it for days and actually settled a camp on it to rest. Your sudden disappearance when things started piling up a bit confused everyone and left them worried. sending out missing posters even. You did take care of most of the pets near the town after all and studied animals so you were more useful then anything. But useful. Everybody loves you but nobody likes you huh..? Ah this is the exact reason you dissapeared. You need time alone to come back, to think. At this point you didnt mind if someone was with you, you just wanted some peace and quiet. Hence the reindeer and your fur coat with the hood off. You can't focus if your almost freezing to death. Besides you've collected many different organisms and seen such things that were worth your time journaling about. You were taking your time. Till you heard the sound of treasure hoarders interrupting someone. You sighed as you prepared your hammer. Yes your hammer, pretty big actually. ( For refrence imagine it being as long as a scythe but as strong as a claymore, yet still the shape of a hammer. Its strong okay. Imagine it strong like Bedious weapon) Either way you rounded the corner on the moutian and spotted the Cheif alchemist arguing with them. You gestured for your reindeer to scare them off since it's big and nobody wants to disturb an angry reindeer. So that happened and they ran off as planned. You stole back sometime they swiped then went to go calm your beast down. The cheif alchemist seemed quite surprised to see you actually. Which means hes been downtown and seen the missing posters. Great how do you explain- " Can I see those organisms you caught in a jar..?" .... Wha- You blinked continually for a few seconds before nodding and walking over to his table and setting it down. He gave you an apologetic smile as she had swapped you journal from your hand. " You can stay here for a bit. May I use your information on cyro slimes and geo slimes in the meantime?" He asked while giving your reindeer a few pets. It wouldn't hurt to do so.. But he said nothing about you being missing...? " Oh and please come back when your ready" he said tilting his head to look back at you. You were surprised. As blunt as is you were. You just smiled and muttered a quick yes before leaning against the wall of the mountain and watching him. He nodded his head and began his own experiments, casually he would ask himself questions then if you would answer he would chuckle and praise you for you brilliant mind. It was nice. Not having to talk every moment you were with someone. And you had the observant Cheif Alchemist to thank for that.

He began to return to Dragonspine to give the resources to Albedo, as he was the one requested the materials. Then, out of seemingly nowhere, an arrow shot in him the back. He suppressed a cry and spun around to see where the arrow came from. A hilichurl ambush. Lovely. It wouldn’t take long to dispatch them, yes, but Aether had to get these items to the alchemist as quickly as he could. Night wouldn’t be pleasant since it got so much colder. He easily fought off his attackers, as predicted, and started running towards the campsite, despite the injuries he endured. Oh but he slips into a lake! Why was the grass so slick?! How… unfortunate. He wouldn’t stay long in Albedo’s camp so… he wouldn’t freeze, right? Standing, he decided it would be fine. From then on, the sun only set lower and lower in the sky. Yawning, he knew it’d be night by the time he’d meet back up with his friend. Wonderful. Wet, bloody, and tired. Might as well add freezing to the list preemptively. But Aether trudged onwards. Albedo needed his help, after all. Walking the snowy path, he felt a snowflake land on his nose. Now it’s snowing? What was his luck today?! Had Bennett transferred his luck to him or something? Whatever, it was still a light fall. It shouldn’t get worse, right? Wrong. *Dead* wrong. The dance of the gently falling snow soon turned into a hateful blizzard. Aether shivered uncontrollably as his still wet, now freezing, clothes clung to him. His eyelids drooped. A silhouetted figure appeared in the distance. It looked a bit like Albedo but he wasn’t sure. He could’ve swore it called to him. It started to approach him. “Albedo…?” He asked in a low voice. He started to sway as he tried to close the distance between them. “Aether?” Albedo asked as he reached him, “What are you doing here?” “I got the materials you needed,” He mumbled, “Sorry for the wait..” His vision swam as he fought to keep his eyes open. “It’s quite alright,” Albedo replied, “Come, you nor I are in the condition to be out in this type of wea- AETHER!“ Albedo struggled to catch Aether as he lost the battle for wakefulness and fell as the world went dark. Albedo said (or was he yelling?) something but he couldn’t tell what. … When he awoke, he found himself in a field. And there she was. Lumine. His sister was right there. He tried calling to her but his voice failed him. “Aether,” She turned to look at him, “You have to wake up, brother.” Furrowing his brow. Wake up? She smiled sweetly, “Your friend is waiting for you.” Then he remembered. The material gathering, the hilichurl ambush, the involuntary dip in the lake, the blizzard, Albedo, everything. “Wake up,” Lumine said, “You’ll be ok.” With that being said, she and the world faded away. Aether’s eyes shot open. Instead of being on the path to the campsite, he was in… a tent? He tried to sit up but thick layers of blankets prevented him from doing so. He gazed around the room, something smelled nice. His clothes on a drying rack. A first aid kit was opened on the floor. Research neatly put away. Albedo was making something, food most likely. “Ah, you’re awake,” Albedo said, turning to look at him, “Are you feeling better?” “Yes,” Aether smiled, “Thank you.” “No need for thanks,” He approached with plate in hand, “You did give me quite a scare, my friend.” “I’m sorry,” He murmured, guilt clawing at him. “It’s alright,” He smiled as he sat next to him, “Now, you must eat. You need the energy.” Aether started to slip his arms out from the blankets. Albedo sighed. “Is there-“ He was interrupted by a piece of cooked fish in his mouth. “No need,” Albedo said reassuringly, removing the fork from the meat, “I will handle it.” After chewing and swallowing the meat, he mumbled, “Oh, th-thank you.” It didn’t take long for him to finish his meal. It was amazing! And warm! Albedo gently ran his fingers through his hair, although he still looked worried. Aether tried to make small talk, “So, uh, why are my clothes… over there?” “To prevent possible death from hypothermia, one should remove the victim’s wet clothing,” Albedo explained, “And replace them with warm, dry coats or blankets,” He blushed slightly, “I… did not have any extra coats with me.” “At least I still have my boxers on?” “It would invasive to remove them. I wish not to see… that.” “True.” They lapsed into silence. It was comfortable. Aether turned on his side, facing the wall. Then he remembered his dream. Lumine. When will he be reunited with her? I often feel bad recently (sometimes for dumb reasons), and i just listen to it or others of your playlist and it makes me feel a bit better, specially because i picture him and me together like a kid could do. He stood up and took your shoulders. You felt warm. You haven't hug someone. Oh, yes, maybe Klee but she's a child... You haven't hug someone you loved. He pulled you against him, and softly caressed your back. He wasn't speaking more. He just wanted you to be better. «You can talk to me. What is in this room stay in this room.» He chuckled saying this. That made you smile, and chuckle a bit. You were better now. But, something was on your mind. You want to tell him... But what if he reject you ? You can't handle this, right ? You are just someone trying to hide their own feelings. But, this blond haired boy was reading your mind. «What's up, Y/N ? Do you want to tell me something ? I will listen to you. And keep it as a secret, I swear.» His gently and soft voice makes you melt. Yes, you can't lie anymore. You fell in love with him. He makes his way to your neck, even if there was your hair, and kiss it gently. You felt butterflies in your stomach. It was a rough and bad day, like yesterday, but today was a lot different. You were now with your perfect man. You two fell for each other, and you were now hugging and cuddling. Even if he didn't know how bad was your day, he just tried to make you better. The past few days had not been going the way you planned at all, everything you planned either got disrupted by others or just didn't work out at all, and on top of that, you had a lot of other workload to do as well, being one of the working nights of favonious was surely not an easy job. Surely, this was your dream job and for the past few years you had been working as one, everything had been going pretty normally. But this week, nothing, and that means absolutely nothing you had planned were going a single way you wanted. It wasn't that the jobs were hard, it was just that there were too much of them. With the amount of stress from all the workload, you had been feeling anxiousness everyday, and all those problems resulted to not getting enough sleep at night which was also yet another problem which was added because of problems. And just two days ago, you got scolded by one of the most senior knights for slacking off while working, and ever since then, you had been just been feeling too overwhelmed. Since then, you have just been working and working with no rest nor break. You knew it was getting a little out of hand but, also knowing the fact that your three-day break from the job was arriving soon, you just wanted to get all these things over, and on top of that, you didn't want to see anyone being disappointed with you again. After all, you had already had a whole scolding from one of the senior knights. Today, you decided to work from your home since most of the work you had were paperworks. Even though you were at home you still didn't take a single break from working. As you were looking through all the paperworks one by one, you took a glance at the one picture on your table, which was of you and your little brother who was still very small, oh, how much you adored and missed him, he was currently with your mom and dad in Liyue for their business, with you being the only one who stayed behind just to pursue your dream job. The picture bought back many certain memories of you with your brother, in most of them your brother always had his cute wide smile, which would comfort you in a quick second no matter what. Thinking about them just made you miss them more, then when you were about to go back to the paperworks, you suddenly realized that drops of tears were streaming down your face. "Ah, why am I crying, seriously, this is really not the time to be doing this, I have so much work" yet saying that, tears were still streaming down your face. You at that point realized that you did need a huge break. You thought that overworking yourself you would fix all these problems, but no, what you needed was to give your mind a rest and have breath of fresh air. The small teardrops then turned into tears continuously streaming down your face and soon it turned into a huge breakdown which lasted for around 2 hours, and honestly you felt quite a bit better because of that. Guess the saying was indeed true, sometimes you just need to let it all out. Now, you were laying in your bed, staring emptily at your ceiling, you were just reflecting on everything you had been doing for the past few days, and what you could've done better instead of just overworking yourself continuously. You glanced out at your window, which was by the side of you table, what a beautiful sight it was, the sun was setting and the sight Mondstadt was truly one of a kind, the tiny rays of sun reaching into your room making it look even more of a pleasing sight to see, to say at the least, it really bought a sense of relieve and relaxation to you. A gust of wind past by you and with that you knew that the night was gonna be quite chilly, how lovely, you loved it when it was quite and cool. As you were admiring the beautiful sight, you suddenly heard a faint knock on the door, you usually didn't have guest other than Klee, who really liked you, and you were pretty sure this was the time Klee usually had to study, so you knew the person knocking was not the adorable kid. While in thought, you heard the knock again and you quickly snapped out of your thoughts and went to the door to unlock it. You saw the person who was standing on the other side of the door and it was one of the last person who you had expected. "Eh Albedo? What are you doing here?" in front of you stood a familiar pretty blonde man who was just staring blankly at you, he soon replied with a smirk, "What, I thought we were close enough for me to be able to visit your house whenever I would wish so" Despite you two being very close, he didn't usually come over without Klee or for work purposes. "Oh, of course, I never said you were not welcomed" then you stepped aside from the doorway, and let him in, you walked up to your couch which was at the corner of your room, "You can sit here" you patted the couch indicating for him to sit there "Just wait here for a moment, I'll bring out something for you to drink" As you were about to leave, he suddenly held your wrist. "You don't look quite well {name}, are you okay?" you knew he would notice the bags under your eyes but you hoped he didn't, anyways you weren't quite sure about telling him about what had happened, "Yeah, of course, why would I not be well, I am doing fine, why do you ask tho?" He was a well known alchemist and you knew you would just end up being a bother if you told him anyways. "You know, you really don't have to lie, I mean I have been looking at you for a while now, and you just look tired" he sighed "you don't have to tell me what is happening but just saying, I would be glad to listen to you, it would help me with my research too anyways, so don't feel guilty if that is what you are feeling" Hearing those words made the tears come back again, and the next moment you knew, you were a crying mess again, those words might've been just simple words for others, but you had been needing it so much because of the past few days, and not having anyone to say those to you was just the worst. You felt so embarrassed for crying like this but it couldn't be helped, then Albedo suddenly pulled you into to his embrace, "From one of my studies, I had read that physical contact such as hugs help people who are sad" you were taken aback but at the same time you didn't complain as you haevn't felt such comfort in a while, it felt a little strange, it was so warm and cozy, it felt like you were exactly where you belonged. "Yes...it sure does" those were the few words you could get out from between the sobs. Soon, after a while you calmed down. And Albedo realizing that asked, "So, what had been happening?" Honestly at this point, you had this really warm feeling and a small voice in the corner of your head telling you to just tell him everything. And so you did, you were quite taken aback with how he was listening so attentively to everything you were saying and every now and then, he would slip in short phrases like "no, that's not right, from my observations you are doing pretty great" "you should've taken a break" "next time, just come to me" or just head nods indicating that he was still listening to you. Your rant ended and you and Albedo were still in a warm embrace, and the comfortable silence was slowly getting to you, soon you knew that the sleepiness was slowly taking over and before you drifted off to sleep, "thank you so...much albe.." and then without even completing his name, you took of too dreamland. Albedo had a soft smile placed on his face, looking at how soft you were looking while sleeping, then slowly lifted you up walking over to your bed, placing you on the bed gently then he softly lifted the blankets and placed it on top of you, he closed the window as it was already night outside, and the air was pretty chilly, and you would end up getting sick if he didn't do so, and that was the last thing was was wishing for to happen. Then as he was about to leave, he swiftly pulled out a small note and a pen and scribbled down something then left it on your side table next to you bed, then he left a soft peck on your forehead before leaving your room with a warm and genuine smile. Later you woke up midnight, and you realized you were feeling better than ever, then you soon saw the note on the small table, which read... "You were sleeping very soundly, so I couldn't bring myself to wake you up before I left, I hope you feel better when you wake up, I will be coming tomorrow too, so make sure to prepare your room a bit, I'm joking of course, just treat me as a family member, no need for formalities. Sleep well {name} -Albedo" You might have had a bad week but with what happened between him and you, you were feeling very better now, even better than how you were before the bad things happened, knowing that now you had someone you could depend on, someone who would listen to you and be there for you. *This turned out to be so damn long but hope you enjoyed* *First ever official ff so please ignore any mistakes if you see so* *Dropping my wattpad acc here even though there is nothing there* *@/crystalixxie*

This is my first POV here I go…. Sorry if it is bad 😭 Today was a cold day in mondstat probably going to be the most coldest day of the year. You were about to go to good hunter and get some fisherman’s toast until you saw your lover on a date with another girl. In shock, you drop everything and leave. Luckily he didn’t notice you. Running and crying, you run out to windrise and run into in to albedo. “ Y/N??” “ why are you crying?” “ let me take you to some shelter and explain.” Once you are sat down you explain what happened to albedo. “ oh…. Well he is stupid for leaving someone like you.” You giggle a bit, you think you are quite lucky to have albedo around. You are still feeling a bit cold and albedo noticed. “ here you still look cold take my jacket.” The warmness of his jacket was lovely and warm. Albedo played with your hair to make you more comfortable. The calmness of this situation was unreal. You have never felt so warm and peaceful in your entire life. “ hot chocolate?” Albedo asked. You nod in response. While waiting, you take a look at albedo’s sketch… it was of a cat. You smiled… “ it’s ready!” You take the drink and drink it and listen to albedo talking about his experiments. The night passes by as you and albedo are talking about experiments. Soon enough, you had fallen asleep on albedo’s lap and let the night pass through… That’s it hope you all liked it! I haven't written for years now but I couldn't help but write it! Serene and hazy, it was one of those days you ever so disliked. Today was no different, following your daily routine and going about your day. Expecting the worse for today, you convinced yourself you were ready for any stone or storm thrown at you. Or so you thought you were ready. Never did you expect to be slumping at the foot of mount Dragonspine, after losing more materials than you expected as you did your quests. Bubbling in your stomach, you didn't notice the pent up frustration you let out an angered growl and held back the tears at the back of your aching temple. "I thought I heard something. So it's you." Lifting your head from the image of powdered snow below you, you faced the source of the voice. Of course, you already had an idea who it might be. "Albedo.. Ha.. Right, you conduct your experiments here. Sorry for the inconvenience.", you sighed out breathlessly. The crunching of snow and twigs reached your ears as you assumed he was walking closer. You stared right back at him. "..come, follow me, I have been preparing warm refreshments in my research lab. Timaeus and Sucrose were supposed to come, but an unexpected turn of events resulted into then cancelling." A cold and monotonous tone that he always adorned, but now you could feel a fuzzy and warm feeling bubble up from inside you, overtaking your frustration. "..Albedo, you-" Gentle arms held you closer to his chest and effortlessly wiped the snow buildup on your head, a desperate attempt to keep you warm. "You may be from another world, but you and I both know you couldn't stand a chance against sheer cold.", he explained as he looked into your eyes. Giving in, you sighed deeply and leaned closer to the blonde young man, accepting his comforting embrace. "Albedo, thank you, for everything."
