Our aim was to make the ultimate Japow ski. My artist friend LeRoc art and I were inspired by the vertical scroll work of Hokusai and wanted to capture the light, floating feeling of his scroll work and place it on the 'Ord' powder ski. The project is called 'The Dance of the Tancho' capturing two red cranes in an effortless dance. Perhaps one day it will be seen in the floating powder world of Hokkaido.
The ski will be on show later this week in an exhibition in Edinburgh with other works by LeRoc.
