I gotta say man this subwoofer is surprisingly good for a budget build this thing will throw some sound at ya I had a fosgate t2 that after 4 years of slamming the fuck out of it with the fosgate 1500×1bdcp with gain set a bit high lol she finally started to fail mechanically I think the former cracked and started to make noises that didnt sound like clean bass lol so at that time I was broke af but needed my bass so I had been eyeing these ar Walmart and decided wtf cant go wrong if it sucks ass I can bring it right back well I kept that same fosgate 1500x1bdcp didn't to8the settings on amp from the t2 I had the power acustik for over a year and it never failed and but out serious bass for what it is I normally dont reccomend anyone buy an off brand however if you are on a budget and just want a quick cheap set up you will not regret getting these now as I said I kept my fosgate amp where it was and that's a serious amp and I had it in a custom vented box I built tuned to about 45 so I was throwing big power at it so if you cheap out on an amp you may not achieve what I did with them

Your subs appear to be out of phase and fighting each other. If your amp has a phase adjustment try adjusting it. If not swap the positive and negative on one sub and see if they are firing the same.

I already have sundowns 12s 5k amp in my last car sold the car so I kept the sundowns lol there in the basement so I bought a pick up truck and they won’t fit so I went to wallmart and bought one of the mofos holy shit man I didn’t expect them to bang like that

I got them to on a 3000 watt amp hiphonics they are sickkkkk 3 days later im turning my amp up i breaking them in first then im cranking up my amp i have a compaciter thats alot of power it killed my engine so compaciter helps alot

Pay zero attention to the audiosnobs telling you to work on your mids and highs. I’d say they don’t know how much super deep bass these subs can put out. They’re probably Jealous because you got more bass out of two wal mart woofers for less money than them. I was so impressed with running only 1 of these, with the razor amp that I decided to go with 2 10” kicker comps instead. As I prefer bass that hits sharper. I feel the gothic 12 sorely lacked in this area. However, I did not use it long enough to break it in so maybe I effed up there. Anyway, The video portrayed a good representation of how these gothic 12s was too much even at its lowest setting, that it drowned out all the mids and highs. If and when you do decide to upgrade your font and rear doors speakers, spend a little bit more and go with a set of component speakers: a tweeter , a midrange and a crossover/HPF .... 🤔 or whatnot. And stay away from “3-way” style speakers! It’s practically impossible to tune a three way to play all three ranges without one of them distorting.

Very cool! ..... but you need to get that dead grass and twigs out of your trunk before it ruins the voice coils on your subs. I'm sure it's louder than anything I had when I was your age, enjoy!!!

All right I'll have to say those we have to say that I've never bought this brand and tried them don't sleep on them how much from ds18 15 to 3 of the exact speaker he has my Grand Marquis just like a Crown Victoria I got my 6000 watt ds18 amp going to it I got to Optima Red Top batteries all 0 gauge professionally wired and the Big 3 upgrade and I'm hitting 150 2.6 so look at Walmart

Might need to tune your amp a bit. Sounds a little weird to me. But all in all good job man :)

Your first mistake was just tossing out the owners manual at the beginning of the video. You should have checked the rms specs and cross referenced it to the rms rating of the amp at the ohm load you were going to wire for.

Dude I had one sub for one amp. You'll over load that amp. It's meant for one subwoofer. They ARE NOT hitting like two should. I only had one and it hit four to five times harder then that....sounds like shit btw lose the bass on your stereo. Mid half tre up bass up gain mid... can't understand your song from distortion...
