This video continues on from my first video on setting up and formatting the matrix visual in Power BI.
I'll specifically focus on:
0:32 - Using the drill-down buttons if you have a row hierarchy to move up and down the hierarchy of aggregated values.
4:14 - Setting up conditional formatting and the key difference between when to use bars vs. when to use the heat map options.
11:16 - How to set the sort order of the columns in the matrix.

Well explaind !! After creating a bridge table for sorting purposes the values are not getting filtered properly (Columns with blank value also appearing).

Hi Jason - Thanks for your videos. I wanted to know, how do I sort records based on Row values, in your example, Department and Discipline. So if I sort on Discipline, the whole matrix should get sorted and not just the Discipline values.

Hi, unfortunately power bi doesn't sort the columns by value to, just the rows. It's a bit annoying for sure. There might be a way of working around doing it but I've not figured it out yet.
