This episode & lowkey the pacing of the whole season are a victim of a show that had too much material ending abruptly. If you watched the podcast with Tariq & Brayden’s actors you’ll hear how there was so much more story. & it’s all being rushed & fit into a final season that was announced it was final right before it aired. The Club Fight scene between Zion and Cane was probably my favorite scene of season 5. If you grew up playing Def Jam Fight for New York. You'll understand why, and your childhood was awesome. Definitely got those vibes during that whole scene. I cheered.

I'm not going to lie while I like the season so far it doesn't feel like a final season. Where are all of the big deaths that are supposed to happen in a final season ?? I get that it was the mid-season finale, but that episode was the worst of the first five episodes. I’m disappointed with how they handled Tariq’s acid trip. They could have really delved into the hallucinations, but that scene was only 30 seconds long. They could have taken inspiration from Franklin’s acid trip on Snowfall, but they fumbled it big time

Michael Rainy said they knew a few months in advance way after filming. This was film last year. All they did was spilt the episodes, that’s all. Nothing special about that.
