Happy 3000 subs edition! You don't need a huge workshop to make something cool! In this video I carve, engrave, sand, and finish a simple canary wood bear carving with a Dremel 4300 Rotary Tool. I've posted a bear carving video before but I like this one better. Please let me know what you think in the comments! Thanks for watching.

If you're looking for more wood carving designs and videos, I recommend watching the video where I carve a greek paddle with a Dremel 4300. I use Walnut, Poplar, and Epoxy! The epoxy was a hassle but came out really cool.

Hands down the best dremel powercarving tutorial for beginners. Idk why but compared to others out there, you really make something seemingly daunting into a very simple, step-by-step process.Thank you! I think this will be a christmas gift this year :)

I'm new to Dremels, but this thing has been great. kzfaq.infoUgkxfPgcZ5_Cl0HDUKkMJAKde11YKQZVgMoR The variable speed is awesome and the cordless aspect makes it so easy to work with. I am constantly finding uses for it that make tasks easier. Recently I put in a new deadbolt on one of our doors. I knew I had to enlarge the hold where the deadbolt goes into the door frame. At first I thought I would have to get a big router and figure out how to use it for that, but then I rermembered we have the dremel. I was able to enlarge the hole almost as easy as if I was drawing with a pen. It's also great for grinding our dog's nails done and so many other household tasks.

I used to carve alot of wizards, native Americans, old men ect about 12 inch tall but I cheated and roughed them in with a bandsaw after blistering my hands on the first couple, back then there was no dremels, I used a utility knife small files and sandpaper but I just bought a new dremel with about every attachment available, I just cleaned up a long piece of driftwood for a walking stick I’m going to carve multiple figures down the whole length except handle.

@@Matsersuperkul Maybe a mix of both. I try not to put too much pressure, keep it around a 45 degree angle, and do many shallow passes. That’s SO COOL… the Dremel was the first tool I bought myself as an “adult” when my wife and I bought our first house. I didn’t find it as handy as social media proclaimed it to be…. 5 years later I’ve gotten into woodworking and it seems like I was trying to use it wrong. Would love to give something like this a try…. Subscribed! Btw +8k subscribers in 6 months, keep it up!

@@darodes ah gotcha, good maths! The growth has been really cool! Need to get around to editing more videos but I prefer the carving over the video making

Would love to see you do sports logos of teams. NHL Hockey (Montreal), NFL football (Green Bay) … I was thinking of doing (trying) this myself.

Wow! Can you please do a video, carving a sea turtle? This was my first video about this and you caught my attention! Subscribed and looking forward to watching more of your videos. I was actually looking for a video using a Dremel pet nail grinder for my cat, Paws. Then I clicked onto your video and I was fixated! Beautiful wooden bear, and the colors of the wood gorgeous!

I’ve actually carved a sea turtle before if you’d like to see it on my Instagram under the same username. I haven’t made a video though. I haven’t tried grinding my dog’s nails because she’s scared of loud noises. Thank you for the kind words!
