I have been wanting to improve my DIY CNC Machines tool changing capability and so a good year ago I designed up a conversion for my machine to allow me to have quick tool change and also a more rigid bearing assembly to improve the finish of the parts. Also with this I will have a ratio change to drop the RPM of the spindle down with what ever pulley I wish to put on so if I use 24,000 RPM on the motor and on the spindle have 3000RPM for chopping through steel with a good amount of torque available. I'm looking forward to getting the belts as there still in the post and will set it up on the next video.
