Power Feed for the Z AXIS

4 жыл бұрынIt takes too long to crank the handle to raise and lower the Z axis on the mill. So I 3D printed an adapter so I can use my drill motor to raise and lower the table.

loved the 2 videos so, 2 questions how can I buy two, and could you have possibly made them so they could slide up and down with the same nut-like things that hold the filament holder that sidewinder sent 2 extras with the machine. Probably would need to find more unless you designed the first one to hold the filament, the one farthest from the z home, and used the nuts from the filament holder. Just an idea I'm unable to do these things just yet that's why I ask, I was also just looking at making some when I saw the post in the group. Thanks

Someone also suggested using the "T" nuts to simplify the mounting. I didnt even think of that. Being that you are the second person to suggest this, Im going to work on another design to facilitate that. As far as buying a set, I have thought about making a few sets to sell, biggest thing is the time and cost. Its 60 bucks in raw material alone and I am machining them manually. It takes several hours to machine one of them. There are some future upgrades I will be doing to my milling machine to speed up the process. If enough people are willing to fork up the cash I would happily make some.

simple and it work, great. how much cost the solidworks, best cad software, but too expencive for hobby use

I got it through my work, I do CAD and 3D printing as a secondary duty.

I have the same printer and, by the looks of it, mill too, but my version of the same didn't last very long. How is yours holding up?
