Luke Cage and Iron Fist has got to be one of the best friendships in all of comics.

In my opinion, putting Power Man and Iron Fist in a comic together was genius in another way. Their interactions and adventures together helped them become much more three-dimensional characters, and as such, when the film fads that inspired them faded from the public eye, they were able to stick around and maintain a following for decades.

The movie you were talking about in the history of iron fist was the movie king boxers aka five fingers of death. It was released by the shaw brothers and is considered by many a classic, I own that movie.

So I may or may not own a good 90% of Power Man and Iron Fist comics and let me tell you I'm so happy this exists. The classic run is one of my favorite comics of all time and seeing them discussed (even if it is for the campiest reasons) is just really nice.

It's fun whenever Linkara looks at goofy old comics like this. Especially when it relates to something he's passionate about like Dr. Who. Luke Cage and Iron fist is yet another one of those classic comic book series that I need to read at some point. Especially since, much like US1 and Rom, it seems like a lot of cult classic fun. Out of the two, I think I'd like Luke Cage just a bit more. His no nonsense approach to crimefighting in Hell's Kichen is something I can get behind. Here's hoping to more reviews from this series in the future.

You can't help but wonder if the Doctor Who Christmas Special 'Return of Doctor Mysterio' with a Superman-style character was an ironic reverse of this situation.

It’s kind of funny when you realize that the TMNT, whose origin is supposed to be linked to Daredevil’s...have most of their crossovers with DC (mainly Batman). Hell, even their infamous Power Rangers team-up links back to DC via that MMPR/Justice League crossover a few years back.

I never read anything Power Man and Iron Fist, but watching this I can see why a friend of mine is a huge fan of their friendship. He keeps insisting that the family dynamic of them it is so deep Danny and Misty's daughter Lucy that only appears in a what if story should be in the Marvel main universe and by 2050 Marvel should let her and Luke Cage and Jessica Jone's dauther should have their own title in which they take the family business. His title idea? "Power Dani and Iron Lucy". On another note does Danielle Cage have any powers?

I was first introduced to Iron Fist via Ultimate Marvel VS Capcom 3, so I was psyched to see that he'll get his own MCU Netflix series down the line. Glad that the storyline's returning, especially with the title of this one. "The Sleepwalker".

dude, I'd love to see the Doctor in the MCU. Mind you the Doctor was already in a shared on-screen universe during Russell T Davis's rein (see Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures...the 2 shows parents should not get mixed up (for those not in the know, while Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures both shared the same universe, The Sarah Jane Adventures was a show designed for kids and was broadcast alongside the usual kids TV in the UK, whilst Torchwood was designed for mature adults, episode 2 of Torchwood even features an alien that has to have sex to survive and disintegrates anyone it bangs.....Russell T Davis was a very odd writer)). Come to think of it, the Marvel universe is one of the few where I can see the Doctor finding it even harder to just Deus Ex Machina her way out of trouble.
