Megaforce, the ultimate tragedy of what could've been a fantastic celebration of all things mighty morphing instead turned into a confused mess that tried to sustain itself with nothing but the tropes of the series that people mock it for, as opposed to tapping into the series' actual strengths that make fans remember it dearly.

Honestly i think it would work better if Gosei was someone who study the teachings of Zordon instead of being his protege. That way we don't have to think about where he was during the previous seasons.

I paused the video when Mia's drivers license was shown, and it turns out Power Rangers Samurai takes place in a city called Panorama City

Whenever you say "burn up as much Sentai footage," I imagine Tzachor sitting next to a steel trash barrel, taking rolls of film, and burning said film in the trash barrel going "yes, we're done with this one."

Tbh, I think that the issue is that this is too much like MMPR and ignores the way the franchise has evolved since then. The first season of MMPR also had a lot of characters getting new powerups for no reason and random teleportation

Linkara mentioning how they missed the opportunity to mention that earth fought of multiple invasions and are definitely not weak made me think of a unique main villain motivation

Linkara: Hell even other children's shows are capable of that in half an episode's time, ten minutes to tell an emotionally engaging story while also containing action.

Ya know, it's funny to think how this team was called Megaforce when In Space was based off Megaranger, to the point where even In Space still referred to a lot of their things with Mega.
