This was great.... I just finished this using your (simple for a beginner) instructions step by step and now I can turn my car here.... i can turn my car there.... i can turn it WHEREVER without worrying about my hernia. Had some trouble following because the talking sounded hurried and sometimes out of breathe, but very knowledgeable and to the point. I found the video helpful.

Thanks for the video... I used it to help with a kia sportage... Nothing I could find online showed how to change the power steering pump belt. I figured there was some tensioner I couldnt see but nope.. Just 2 bolts... Thanks for saving me time.

I'm not sure how much help the car fixing helped because I'm trying to figure out how to check the belt first... But I will definitely say that adding the Bible scriptures is a plus... God bless you sir!!!

Awesome!! You explained a lot. Last year, my daughter had all these belts replaced because it squealed like a pig. But a few weeks later it started to squeal again. Do you have suggestions of why it's squealing again?? Thanks

Usually squeals if it's not tight enough. Check the deflection in the belt, if it's too loose, tighten it up. I, for some reason, found I ran out of adjustment to tighten my belt up enough and had to go to a shop with a selection of belts and find one with the same profile but 1cm shorter.

@@samurphy I replaced all 3 and like you said,a month or two later especially in the bitter cold it would squeal for just a bit. I found that I apparently didn't tighten the alternator pump tensioner and hold down bolt tight enough and they began to back off (out) yikes. Thank God I got into it and checked and found it and with the info here I was able to adjust the power steering pump belt again like it should be!
