That answered one of my questions I have had for a long time. I was wondering if I was supposed to unreal all 200 ft or not. Thanks for that. Also in desperate need for some hose reels so great timing on this video for me.

Also a option I do is have 2 100 ft hoses and leave 100 ft on reel and straight connect my water feed kine to just tbe 100ft line. Once done. Reconnect hose reel it up

Thanks for the great content. If using with 12v soft wash, would you flush the hose after each use?

Yes always flush pump reel hose etc w water after each use.

Depending on the stiffness of the hose, If it’s 1/2 hose yes. If using 5/8 no. 5/8 would need 18 inch

Is there a different hose reel that you use when you are using it for hooking up to the customers water supply (faucet) and feeding a water tank on a trailer build?

No. Not necessary. I just use the same as I would for pressure hose.

Depending on the hose your using either a 12” or 18” reel will work. If it’s real stiff hide then use the 18”.

Can I ask a question… I’ll give some context… I purchased a hose reel, plumbed it just like you do with the quick connects and plugs…. I went to connect the hose quick connect to the plug on the manifold. But the hose has a stiff black plastic hose end protector on it and because of that the hose does not bend nicely around the reel. Due to that, the hose reel does not spin freely. Question. Is it ok for me to cut that stiff plastic off of the hose and discard it?

I remove them on every hose. They are called bend restrictor’s and are a pain

If the hose reels are mounted horizontally like on a van frame mount does that make them easier to reel up?

Any place they are easy to access and roll up is fine. As long as they are securely attached

Got question. So got new 100ft hose and works good but won't pull any chem from tank. Been using the injector on the pressure washer thats build on it. You think I should buy different injector? With hose it came with works fine not with new one. Any ideas?

Hard to say as there are to many variables that come in to play, such as chemicals run through it, flushing them out with water, sitting out in weather, etc etc

@@PressureCleaningSch I was thinking of running a dead reel in 50" increments so I don't have pull the entire hose off. So whatever I need, I can just plug into the machine or whip line. What do you think about this method and do you sell a manual reel that later on I can attach a motor to making it an electric reel ? Thanks for replying! 🙏✨

I'm having problems with my whip line going to the pressure washer to the hose reel swivel not swiveling when I pull my hose out when it's under pressure any ideas

If I'm understanding you correctly, the hose reel swivel should not swivel once hose is hooked up. Also you should always pull all the hose off the reel before putting the hose under pressure.

I went to put the bushing into my cox reel but wouldn’t fit ? How would I go about that ? I bought 2 bushing one for the swivel and one for the manifold but both didn’t fit

Sounds like the bushing is not the same size as the reel and swivel. Which cox reel is it?

@@PressureCleaningSch the model# says model#117-3-250 ! I can’t seem to get the size bushing i need I don’t want to hard plumb it incase I have a bust on the field

@@SprayNShinePressureWashing looks like its a 3/8 inlet so no need for reducer, you can just use a quick connect fitting directly into the reel and then connect your hose to that fitting.

HELP! Ok feeling like a dummy. Building my trailer and got all my tanks and hose reels and soft wash box plumbed. I've always heard everyone say they like using 50' sections of hose (in case one bust on the job) so you can easily replace it. But can someone explain how I am supposed to reel up 4 fifty footers on a reel? Seems impossible with the stiffness where the two hoses meet? What am I missing here? 🤪🤣🤣

Not missing anything. Reeling 4 50 foot hoses won't work, unless you are using 3/8 hex couplers to connect them instead of quick connects. I've always used either two 100 foot hoses, or one 100 foot and one 50 foot. But I always use the hex coupler to connect them. I don't connect them using quick connects. If using four 50 footers, then better and faster to roll up by hand.
