Alex Pereira vs Jamahal Hill was an insane fight at UFC 300 where Pereira got the knockout in the 1st round. How did he KO Hill?

He shouldn’t take the fight on 301 with Magomed. 1 month is not enough time to prepare for a grappler if you are primarily a striker. Just my 2 cents. Another striker, sure, but a wrestling heavy style is a different fight unless you catch them with the left hook.

Exactly the punch that you didnt expect is the one that knocks you out not necessarily the hardest punch. If one thing that is really great about Alex is his insane timing. That is pure timing. Hill got caught flush at the perfect time and the perfect place. Had the situation been reversed that Hill was able to find his spot at the right time, it's also going to be night night for Alex. Best of luck on the future careers of both champs and I wish them both the best as a fan of both fighters.
