Brings back memories Jay I remember doing something like that for my sons power wheel Jeep he had. The company wanted too much for a new rechargeable 6v battery. Made a trip to lowes garden center got a small 12V tractor battery and installed that. Those plastic wheels couldn't handle the torque on the black top driveway and just spun but in the grass or dirt it flew. My son would giggle every time he took off in it.

Don't you think that vehicle has 6V motor, if we run it with 12V battery, it must be overheating and can damage soon.
