Another great review. Nice one, Chigz. I would like to ask a question. You said at the end that there are cheaper equivalents but they're not small form factor. Which one that's not a SFF would you recommend that offers equivalent performance to this Geekom A7? Thank you 🙂

Thanks for the video - and for all you do...really helpful. I hope you or someone can provide feedback after months of use to see if it held through the months. I am wary of Amazon reviews about Mini PCs packing up after few months, or some other problems.

I have some questions about this mini PC. Can it run emulators for PS3, Xbox360, Nintendo Wii, GameCube and Switch, preferably with internal 3x-4x rendering and 1080p/1440p output for Wii and Switch emulators? If yes, I'm gonna get one for my living room. P.S. There was some bad screen tearing in the PS3 boxing game section.

Looking at either the geekom A7 or the minisforum venus um790, which would you recommend? Minisforum comes with 64gb ram but only 1tb sd for the same price. Minusforum does support raid but dont think id use it. I will be dual booting linux though ( probably manjaro)

UM780 XTX and HG99X are the best MinisPC on the market period. I also want to get my hand on the UM780 XTX and buy the new RTX4080 to use it on the UM780 XTX and finally have the dream performance i always want to have.

I just bought this thing. Got everything set up within an hour and 30 minutes of me using this mini PC. This is not the way to go for 850 bucks this thing overheats like crazy making all the high-tech equipment in this device not worth a damn just because it gets temperature throttled the moment you start trying to push it these fake reviewers are not making it any easier to identify a good device and one that just does not function as advertised I was hyped about the mini PC the after my experience with geekom. I'm not looking to get into any more of these things

Bonjour, Commande passé depuis maintenant un mois d'un mini pc GEEKOM A7 AMD a presque 719 euros après la commande on m'indique que le produit est en rupture en attente de réapprovisionnement, maintenant le produit ne se fabrique plus, j'ai 719 euro dans la nature. j'échange avec le service en chat depuis 1 mois mais rien avance je désespère.

Tried to buy a Beelink from their website and from Amazon. Both times the transactions were flagged and stopped by my credit card companies. Later read reviews of beelinks having very short lifespans

GEEKOM launched the A7 mini-PC, the most impressive mini-PC available... without warranty support. Oh, it's mentioned on their web pages but it isn't real. At least not in Australia or via the US or China. Warranty = Fail. With a new market segment in mini-PCs & the gaming market open to a new hardware segment, AMD & Intel are hedging more than a bit on all this to jump start their cloud gaming future and expand their chip presence in the IoT. I wonder if AMD & Intel know what GEEKOM are doing to their brands. Maybe our KZfaq reviewers should include warranty when reviewing "exciting" new hardware?
