In celebration of the Sikh New Year (Chet), Bhai Baljit Singh first shares the wisdom of Guru Arjan Dev Ji, that despite any special day of the year we use as a catapult to help us change, any day has that same potential for us. We learn from this powerful video what the meaning of the Dastar (Sikh Turban) means and how in the same we could often be authentic and open with our childhood friends, the Guru like a childhood friend is watching and looking out for us.
In the most powerful and inspirational way, we hear about what challenges Bhai Baljit Singh took on today and how he tackled his fleeting thoughts, taking strength from our Shaheeds (matryrs). Just like Bhai Lehna Ji and Bhai Buddha Ji did not want to lose sight of Guru Nanak Dev Ji both physically and in their heart, may we too always face our life challenges head on, whatever they may be and take the sanctuary of the Guru and Sangat as support to navigate this world with steadfastness.
