Odd thing not to mention is firelight *won't degrade.* That is huge, though I am hearing *you have to have a FULLY CHARGED arclight to make the upgrade* so I'm going to need to do some slayer.

The scorching bow looks crazy for ironmen if you can use dragon arrows.

I feel like there's a lot of things they could be focusing on instead of this. But I think the drops are ok to bring into the game overall. Basically just BIS weapons for demons. Which is not going to be too overpowered for the game as a whole. New BIS weapons for stuff like zammy and demonic gorilla's is not going to have bad effects on the game and you having to camp the monster for the weapons will make you have to actually work for new BIS's. It makes sense too me. I think items like this that are for niche things that you have to work for are good for the game. But I feel like they could be doing better stuff for the game's economy and health. I personally feel like we need some extravagant raid thats big and extremely hard. All the good players just breeze through all the raids at this point. It would be cool to have a raid that even after you learn it you still will struggle and have fails. Like TOA I seen Mo1st Critikal who's decently nooby at the game try a TOA and he was able to complete it on I think his first try. Same with Nightmare boss. Everyone waited over 2 years for a new boss, for a new challenge. All my friends were like FINALLY a new boss to learn and have a challenge to beat and figure out the Meta. And then it was so easy everyone was able to do multiple kill trips there on their very first trip. Literally I had a few friends all come back to the game and prepare for that boss to come out so we can have a new challenge together. And within 30 mins all 3 were like alright im bored I'll get on later bro ima go get something to eat... you know how sad it is to have them all come back to play for a new challenge and within 30 mins of no challenge there like, Well. Ok maybe will try again in 2 years whenever the next challenge comes out. I even myself quit shortly after that. Now coming back 5 years later im looking like ok what's new. The desert treasure 2 quest looks good. The bosses seem like a nice addition. But nothing too challenging. The coliseum looks like a good challenge. But you beat it once and then you got the quiver. Even ironman just camp it for a couple weeks after getting the quiver for enough shards to make quiver permanently charged. Then it's back to nothing to do. And they said the new slayer boss that's coming out is gunna be easy and gunna have a new BIS melee necklace that's BIS everywhere.. At this stage in the game? You get a BIS necklace from a easy slayer boss? We need more mid teir gear. That's one thing OSRS has always lacked is gear to grind inbetween the big gear. And we need new BIS, but at this stage in the world of OSRS it needs to be extremely hard to get BIS's. People say, "well there's not a lot of people can do even harder then inferno and coliseum content who wouldn't be able to get BIS" well ok. Then they don't get BIS. They can get the next best thing, and then have an actual challenge that takes actual time and effort to accomplish to look forward too. Look at all the OG players and content creators. There all bored as shit tryna make up there 50th weird youtube series on locking themselves in dungeon and tryna max because they've ran out of actual challenges. When a game has run out of challenges for the top players to the point they have to use make up there own challenges not by doing the games bigger challanages but taking stuff away from themselves to do the not hard challenges harder. Plus the botting problem is absolutely insane. This games economy has been destroyed by bots. Nothings worth anything or has any value anymore. And that's just how a MMORPG that's been out for years goes but all the bots have cutten OSRS life span in half by the insane amount of botting and resources the bots have brought into the game untouched. It's just so sad to see OSRS slowly falling apart. A game so many of love so much and it feels like to me it's on it's last legs.

Btw, 5 attack rate is normal for staves. It's a staff not a trident.

Flip, you know all offensive spells from all spellbooks cast at a 5 tick attack speed right? The only exception to this is using a harmonized nightmare staff. Powered staves like trident and sang, have their own built in 4 tick attacks which arent actually a spellbook spell.

If the bow can freeze the mahjarrat god zamorak, i know for sure it will work on his general k'ril tsutaroth

If they are adding a "burning" effect, they better add it to all the fire spells.

Looking at the ignited staff stats all I can think is the meme of the wizard surrounded by bandits saying "oah dear seems like I'm out of spells" *rips off robe top* "time to show you boys how we did things back in my ole days" Also with the claws this brings up a question about status effects...would the claw burn stack with poison? And how does it interact with the burn effect from the range set from valamore release.

Ignited Staff - If I'm reading the special attack correctly, it only provides a 3 tick savings upon a successful killing blow. It is only useful at the end of the kill for a pretty minor benefit. Maybe it should cost 30% special and restore 45% attack energy (+15% net) upon killing blow and have increased accuracy/damage to be useful during other phases of a fight. Kill two demons in a row with the special and get an extra special attack to be used on a demon with high health! It be awesome if it felt like Darius' execution attack from LOL.

Literally 2 decades worth of content that needs to be reworked but Jagex can't help but add new content. Shareholders know they can't introduce microtransactions or it will cause Evolution of Combat 2.0, so instead we get nonstop powercreep to pump up subscription numbers. Shareholders always win.
