I've lived in Maryland for 26 years! My wife and I met in 1988, she was just working in my local mall and I have to gain the courage to ask her for her phone number!!! (landline in those days). The best decision I ever I made, even though we are getting divorced this fall, we have made 9 beautiful children. One is a successful surgeon!! Another one is trying to become an actress, but she will come to her senses soon. The third, a boy, is traveling abroad, YES DURING COVID :((((((. But he is happy I suppose. The TRIPLETS (yes, triplets), are living in Connecticut together. They are fine. AND THE TWINS (yes, you read that right), have opened a bakery just last month. It sucks that the storm will destroy it. :( LASTLY, my son, Jeremy, has stopped answering my calls. He is on the OPPOSITE side of politics compared to me. SO i guess you could say, I am a HAPPY husband, father, and AMERICAN.

Agreed. Bad winter snowfall could last for 6 weeks, took a break, then returned. This type of winter weather happened in most states where snow was a regular thing. Today it seems the bad snow blizzards happen less often and most times not as bad. But it's winter as you say...nobody changes that...we know the rough stuff can happen. I just hate it for folks who get trapped and can't help themselves or are too sick or crippled.

the morning was bad with wind gusts but there was really nothing to worry about if you stayed home it's not really dangerous, it's just some tall snow that'll need maybe a couple hours of shoveling, I wouldn't call it dangerous if you had to go out

I’m in Boston, where I am it’s not bad at all. The temperature is reasonable, and although there’s a lot of snow, it’s all powdery. As long as the temperature doesn’t drop drastically after the storm is over we’ll be fine.

My daughter lives in Boston, I think the strong winds and below zero degree temperatures are the most dangerous conditions to avoid the next couple days

I was confused why there is so much coverage over this, but a week or 2 ago in my part of PA we had a storm they called for 12 inches, but we got 2 feet at my house in about 30 hours. We have this every year? I swear the media makes it sound so wild it just encourages people to freak out instead of just appropriately prepare.

I’m a long haul trucker, believe or not 40% of oranges sold in Florida including orange juice comes from California. Last week I dropped off 43,000 pounds of oranges at Publix DC in Daytona Beach. Last month I delivered a full trailer of orange juice to the DC in Jacksonville.
