I was proud of closing #2 and coming close #2.5, looks like nothing when Larry does it. Two things, setting it properly makes a huge difference, and even if you have a stronger left hand it's usually harder because of how the spring is wound. Some of them have it almost at the wrist, makes it really hard.

The number they give on coc is not Real weight... RGC is the real grade
@Nick-cp8wf
@Nick-cp8wf 3 жыл бұрын
Company callibrations. Rgc is a more accurate system. Bader has the tags on the grippers that reveal each grippers true rating. A number 2 is rated at around 105. A 2.5 125-130 and a 3 145-155. Every gripper is unique in that grippers can share the same number but can require more or less pressure to close. There are number 3s out there with a rating in the 130s which is light for a 3. Bader has one rated at 138 that he has used many times in his collabs.

3:45 The weird muscle they're talking about is the muscle belly of the flexor digitorum profundus retracting! It's the muscle that controls the last joint of the finger, and its belly goes almost right up to the wrist. It's only well developed in people who have to put force through their very fingertips (without crimping), rock climbers usually have pretty big ones because they put weight on their very fingertips, which is why their forearms look a different shape than bodybuilders and people who work with bars or handles!
