Russel Orhii is one of the greatest powerlifters in the world today and his emphasis when lifting of trying to make every single rep look the exact same - no matter how heavy the weight is. Remember every single rep you take, from your warm ups to your working sets matter -when you take this approach and chase excellence every time you touch the barbell, good things will happen. #SHORTS

@@TENNSUMITSUMA It’s when your technique deviates a significant amount than normal. If your elbow is 5° more in, or your left foot is 1 inch out wider, it could cause a deviation from your standard technique that makes the weight MUCH harder.

As you get older that changes though. You lose some of the stretch reflex you had when you were younger & it becomes harder & risky to dive into a squat with heavy weight.

And doing it in Jordans! Question for chat: I get this muscle strain/buring pain feeling on the outside of my thigh (midpoint between hip and knee) while squatting. It's non existent until heavier weight, but once it flares up it remains throughout the workout. A day later it's gone and I have no pain moving, other (non squat) workouts. Could this be an IT band thing or just a strain of some other leg muscle? Sorry for the long comment!
@kuruptelement5247
@kuruptelement5247 2 жыл бұрын
I had issues with my IT band a while back. I felt the pain in my knee, not running the length of the band itself. The outside of my knee would be sore for a few days. That's not to say your issue still couldn't be IT band related. Have it checked out by your doctor to be sure.

Help me i have 2 shoulders that are messed up, left one is in constant pain and cracks with any movement and can get locked up and i have to undo the movement that locked the arm to fix it, and my right shoulder has a point where it will physically jump a section in my muscles where its idk but i can't make a full rotation with it and when i hit that jump in my mobility its painful as hell, and because of the left shoulder being out of place its effecting my neck now and is pinching nerves on the top of my spine and because of the pinching in my spine the bottom of my spine is being pinched and my hips are being effected by the lower spine and making them have serious pressure all the time so i have to crack my back but by cracking my back its hurting my spine which made the middle of my spine extremely weak i can't lift a empty plate without feeling seriously crushing in the middle of my spine and it hurts so much, i am 17 years old this shouldn't be happening to me yet this is a cry for help doctors don't know what is wrong with me a chiropractor made everything worse and all i hear from everyone is we can't help you, someone who has any possible idea or know anyone who might please help me im in so much pain always..

It was 635-lbs total. Six (6) plate on each side of the barbell plus the weight of the 45-lbs barbell is 585-lbs (13 x 45-lbs=585). Then add on an additional wheel (25-lbs) on each side brings the total up to 635-lbs (585+50=635-lbs).
