Ran Takahashi (髙橋藍 or たかはしらん, Takahashi Ran, born 2 September 2001) is a Japanese male volleyball player and an Olympian. He plays as an Outside Hitter for Nippon Sport Science University's club,[1] Japan men's national volleyball team and Vero Volley Monza.

To me, everyone is equally a crucial player. Because volleyball is a team sport. No use in a setter without good and hard working spiker. No use in a spiker without a uplifting and intelligent setter.

What I like most with Ran is that he remains humble all the time. When others really stand out b4, he continuously support each other when Ishikawa and Nishida really shine out transparently. But this time, Ran gives his best moments to really shine to the top! Excellent Ran! 👍😁🤭❤️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

Miyaura was full of power and he was unstoppable, but for me Ran was the most consistent score/point maker for the team...I admired his tenacity, and his determination to win....I simply love the guy. Yuki was awesome.

@@firmanaditya2223lahhh nonton ga lu ini full matchnya? Ran juga main pakai otak kok ga cuman ngandalin otot 😂 Tau ga kenapa dia bilang Ran paling konsisten di game ini? Ran di match ini 32 point, dengan 29 attack point-2 blok-1ace. Belom lagi receive efisiensi dia sama digs dia ga kalah gacor di match ini. Itu 29 attack point ya ga mungkin ngandelin otot doang apalagi postur tubuh Ran ga sebesar dan se-bulk itu 😒 Minimal nonton dulu full matchnya baru komen hadeh

Harua diliat dr seluruh pertandingan yg sdh dijalankan. Situ boleh cek smpe puas dan buat pwrbajdingannya.!! Gue ga mengecilkan peran sorang ran.krn gue tahu dia salah penopang tim jepang yg tampil baik sejauh ini disamping kapten ishikawa,sekita ,miyamoto dan sekita.dan 2 pertandingam terakhir saat lawan brasil dan argentina ada tambahan miyaura yg sdh bisa menggantikan peran nishida. kekuranga sedikit tim jepang hanya di MB yg ditopang miyauchi dan onodera.mrk berdua memang sdh meningkat permainannya .tp kurang dr sisi servis dan kekuatan pukulan. Talk about a cinderella story. Boy have this team really improved. Their chemistry has rocketed and the 3 main hitters have always been the key players for success. But the main reasons to me has been their amazing chemistry this year. Sekita puts balls right into the spots that his hitters prefer them and their passing is like no other team in the world right now. Another plus is how strong and talented their bench players are. Just all around greatness. Japan all the way!!🙏🏼👍🏼🤙🏼

Both team commited a lot of service errors.. Argentina team has very good spikers that gave Japan a great hustle and pressure..but im so happy that Japan won its 8th consecutive win🎉

Let us also give credits to the setter, Sekita. His plays/sets are well executed that's why his spikers find them easy to do their job. Miyaura peaked on their last match. Ran has been very consistent with his games. Ishikawa IS Ishiwaka too!

Holy sh!t that is such a high percentage for such a huge number of points. When players reach 20+ points their hit rate usually goes down to ~50+%.

@@drjowjowexactly and they played 5 sets. Plus the fact that he's also doing well in reception & digging. The other day he scored 21 against brazil in five sets too with 58% attacking eff & 54% digging eff. He's also good in minimizing his errors, only 21 yrs of age. 🥶

@@carmelavalley what's even worse is that he actually played all sets in all of their 8 matches. He was only subbed once this vnl during 3rd set of Brazil game. I honestly wanted him & yuki to sit out a game atleast, because at this rate, they're both going to suffer from burnout in the playoffs since their position is crucial in both offense & defense.

I think after this game Ran was also #1 in receiving and #2 in digging. If Yamamoto is Japan's best libero we can consider Ran as their fake libero.

He worked so hard for those breakpoint digs i sometimes get frustrated the hitters just waste them ( ishikawa im looking at you 😏). Good job as always ever so dependable!

They should have ended it in 3 sets. But ishikawa committed an error. Same yesterday as they play against brazil. They should have ended it in 15 to 12 in 5th set. But ishikawa spike the ball out.🙄🙄

that's not how it works, the coaches know and puts who will play better and it is Kento Miyaura who plays better now than Yuji Nishida, its not for fans favor, but for the better of the team🥴

Loser and Ishikawa are teammates in Milano. They upset the no.1 team in the QF of the Italian league this season. Perugia had almost win their match in the preliminaries. Some fans said Perugia lost bec they played hard in the CEV. but Yuki and Loser and the entire Milano team was unstoppable that time. To see them play their best here in VNL at the opposite side of the net is amazing. Argentina and Brazil has similar play style. Hence the 5setter i guess.

Yuki, Loser, Piano, and Paolo were the key to their win over Perugia. I'm excited to see them play together again next season with the additions of Kaziyski and Dirlic.
