Just picked one up, great little system. The only negative is the bluetooth is very finicky in recognizing wireless controllers to play on TV. I ended up buying a USB-C to USB adapter to plug into the OTG port to use with a wired controller. It works flawlessly that way if you want to play on a TV (you’ll also need a mini-HDMI to HDMI cord).

I'm lovin my rgb30 but it will not connect to any Bluetooth controllers I've tried 8bitdo ps4 ps5 controllers with 2 RGB30 they see the controllers but pairing always fails . I still enjoy the handheld though . It's also a learning curve to even get it to charge properly .

Good video, but wow the music is repetitive. Got pretty annoying after a while. Please consider mixing it up with multiple songs, or pick one that isn’t so repetitive for future videos.

Noted, lol. I did my video, and people said it was too quiet. This video I tried some background music, and now it's too repetitive. I'll see what I can do.

@@JaviPlayRetro it was good music and having backing music is a good idea! But I think having a new track come in every 3-6 minutes or one with a bit more variety to it would help for future videos.

@TheTotalOverflow I appreciate the feedback. Im still working on getting good background music that matches the theme of the channel. Some songs cause copyright issues, and the free ones aren't too good. Ill see what I can do

Right now I recommend Arkos over Jelos for this device. Im not planning on making a tutorial right now but Arkos is very good.

I had a horrible experience with the RGB30. The sound didn't work half the time. It randomly worked on the main screen, it sometimes worked in-game if I changed the audio driver in retroarch. Sound buttons didn't work at all in-game. And of course the battery drained very fast. I'll return it and try to get something more refined.

.... I Put The Jelos SD Card Into My PC To Make A Copy Of It So It Could Put The Jelos SD Card Onto A Samsung SD CARD And It Would Not Even Open Up The SD CARD So How Am I Suppose To Make A Back Up Copy .... I did not have any issues with the roms SD cards of my 2 rgb30s making a back up .

I'm not quite sure where the BIOs files came from and where they were copied to. Do the BIOs files appear on the games sd card when you add the directory when the card was in the POWKIDDY?

Thanks, just followed your guide and flashed fresh JELOS and put some games on 2 new sdcards, games work great but I cant get bluetooth gamepad to work in games it only works in the menus and controls in JELOS. once I launch a game the wireless gamepad doesnt work just the RGB30 controls work. any clue its driving me nuts.

You most likely have to change the controls to port 1 for the bluetooth controller. Its basically being player 2 by default

I assigned it P1 and also P2 in the JELOS menu and neither one works when I launch a game, Is there somewhere else I have to set them like in one of the emulators. I been trying to get this controller working for 2 weeks and its driving me nuts. @@JaviPlayRetro

Bro please help me…My RGB30 suddenly got problem…i think i messed up the retroarch button configuration and can’t get back in to fix it..the dpad and joystick no longer function…few button only function but with wrong direction…how to reformat or restore to factory setting this device?…i cannot access and navigate to the button configurations menu since most of the button no longer function…no button to press enter…help me bro to reset the system control setting

Nice video javi rgb30 looks great I want to buy rgb30 too but im confused because i search there are dpad problem and they put tape inside the dpad ? what can you say javi does rgb30 have a good dpad like atleast same dpad comfortability like my regular rg35xx?

So the dpad is good. It's just large. It takes some getting used to. For me it just like pivoting like switching directions is more effort because the dpad is wider. I was just playing Mario Tennis for GBC, and if you know how sweaty that game is you know. Def takes time to get use to. So me personally I wouldnt say its bad

.... the RGB30 is A very problem plagued retro handhand .... I'm on my 6th or 7th RGB30 IVE LOST COUNT ....in just a few months I've had to replace every RGB30 With Another RGB30 They stop charging or the sound goes away and Don't return even after all trouble shooting is done and what is the deal with the rgb30 charging issues

Hey Javi, hi 😊 Listen, I would like to ask you for help, I'm customizing my RG35XX PLUS, since we are forced to use StockOs. I've already changed practically everything, but I can't change the font! Where can I find it? Is font24.sft and font32.sft in the Volumn partition by any chance? If so, how do I change them? Because I can’t open them.. And where can I find fonts I can use later?

I loved mine,played the hell out of it until the sound And music stopped working,the headphone jack and Bluetooth doesn't work either, but it only works when hooked up to the TV,I tried a lot of things but still nothing works,any suggestions?

... I've Had 3 RGB3O .... The 2nd and 3rd rgb30 both have for no apparent reason all the ARCADE & MAME MS. PAC MANS That I Love And Changed Into Glitched out versions of pac man .... I was playing Ms pac man via hdmi on my HDTV one minute and the next game was now a pac man board with a Glitched out Ms pac man .... what is going on here ? ?

Lost everything from the SD card on my Powkiddy RGB30. Everything! How do I rebuild from the ground back up? I need all new game bios, emulators and roms. If I can't get it figured out I'll be forced to buy a SD card with everything preloaded.

I believe so. After flashing and creating the folders. You should have folders on both sd cards.

I’m trying to get the os theme it came with from Amazon I did a factory reset and now the theme is gone. I think it’s called epic Cody. I can’t find it anywhere, can you help?

You can always reflash jelos. The default theme is not epic cody, but it's really nice.

Definitely MinUI because its so lightweight. Followed by JELOS then ArkOS

@greenz3535 you could try to redownload them with thememaster that should be in tools. But you may have to configure some of the themes to work on the RGB30

....I Aint Feeling The Purple Due To To Shade Of Purple .... I've a black one and love it And A White One Arriving 2.15.23 .... It's Crazy That My 256gb rgb30 had no mario games But My 2nd RGB30 128gb had every mario game on it and many games that were not on my 1st rgb30 .....

I pull from retro hard drive I have etc. I want to put Ms pac man Twin from my hard drive to my rgb30 do I just drag and drop it to sd card or are their bios files involved since it's an arcade game . I won't to learn to do all this but even following retro games corps guide on rgb30 my 2 rgb30 it didn't work Like russ says . So frustrated

The rgb30 is the 1st Retro Handheld I've actually kept . I sent back every anbernic device I've got as well as miyoo mini plus ....
