My Granny made a quilt with the symbol in the middle of thier dance floor on it and was one of the wisest women I ever knew. She came to me in a dream as she was passing and after and it was a blessing to feel her presence since we were many miles apart geographically. Thank You for posting the gathering of nations it makes me want to dance and sing along in honor of my ancestors and our future as many nations as one that been here before this was named a nation to foreign people who now calm this home. An honor to attend even just virtually since I couldn’t in person. She let me know she was taking care of my babies that passed before me before she was born not the in laws now that they left me. Thanks Granny I love You and keep my babies on heaven away from evil! Thank You and blessings from our Creator and Jesus! My Granny believed in both and so do I! Sang it Gathering of Nations, they have the UN we have this and unite to bring Justice and peace!

Both such beautiful dresses & dancers. I hope to be as good as them one day♡ I haven't dance in yrs because I've got no regalia but I learned how to make jiggle dresses so I hope one day to make myself & my daughter both matching jiggle dresses♡

Instead of doing sit ups and squats and all those workout things, just dance and youll loose so much weight ,

Holy shit, I was 14 when I wrote this comment, and No one has the right to tell me what I should dance for. I dance for myself because it helps my mental health, I dance for mother earth, I dance for my relatives and I dance for the creator, bold of you to assume my motivation. Instead of picking on A CHILD maybe you should focus on being more positive.

I have always been overweight, my whole life. When I posted this comment, I wanted to lose weight, hence why I stated it. I had no motivation to workout any other way. I apologize if what I said came out rude. It's hard for me to see a negative comment over something innocent I said when I was younger. I still am a child and I never meant any harm by saying that comment, I didn't think people would take it that way or suggest my motives for embracing my culture.

The amount of poise and control Acosia has is unbelievable I honestly thought she was going to win. However Tanski danced with so much passion she definitely deserved to be the queen of contemp. Both ladies are beautiful and inspiring.
