Paint protection film (PPF) has been trending lately as it offers protection to your paint.
We have other options like Teflon coating and ceramic coatings on which is the best option for your bike or car?
Having a protection layer over your paint is very useful when your temperature is humid and during Harsh weather conditions dust and rocks could damage your paint.
Paint protection film forms a layer over your paint which also helps you to protect from UV rays.
Paint protection layer has to be changed after five years as it loses its Shine and gloss, so how does ceramic coating last after 5 years because paint protection film will start showing its age after 5 years and start to turn yellow.
Ceramic coating has a lower life but it offers a lot of gloss and shine till it is present on your bike or car, this makes it much better in terms of look and feel. Paint protection film for bikes can be used in certain areas where there are higher chances of rust and corrosion.

In India these things are not worth doing. Imagine you want to protect the colour of your car and you went for ceramic or PPF. and an idiot autowala, bikewala or even car wala bumps your car which gives your car a dent. Do you think that ceramic or ppf will save it. Definitely not. So unless you have a high end car which costs 50 lakhs or more and you drive it occasionally on empty roads, dont go for such things. we live in India where people will bang your car even when it is standing static or parked somewhere. So If you are in India, you should not worry about small scratches.

i have been using formula 1 wax polish from past 10yrs and it gives wonderful results.no need to go for ceramic or ppf and all you need is banian waste and patience😅

My last car had hyundai creta had paint issues - hyundai repainted it completely as it was companies fault in almost all 2016 to 2017 models , they did it when the car was almost 3 years old free of cost - now the car is 6 years old - now when you get these types of coating done on your new cars - think - what if there is a companies fault in paint you will loose the warranty - infact I feel it's better to use good cloth to clean and soft water - and in the same cost you can get completely new paint - and for people thinking of resale after 5 to 6 years, try claiming it from the insurance before selling.

PPF is definitely useful. PPF will be helpful against stone chipping. My car is just 9 months old and I already see 3 places on my bonnet where stone chipping happened. If not an entire car ppf, if has to be atleast done for the bonnet, two bumbers, front fenders and ORVM's. And this can be done in around 30k at 3M. This is definetely helpful in maintaining the paint for long time.

@@bijoypillai8696 If a person is told that you will die at the age of 60 then that person has an option to either lead a healthy lifestyle by eating good food and working out regularly or either eat junk all day and get all sorts of health issues. It applies to car as well. Just because it's thrown to scrap after 15 years doesn't mean there is no need to maintain it. If someone wants his car to look new all the time and doesn't mind spending then ppf is the best option. If swirls, minor scratches, stone chippings doesn't bother someone then there isn't need for ppf !!

Ceramic coating is costly compared to ppf... If u ask why.. Many reasons are there... Ppf is a material.. installation is manual work..very carefully need to do... It's worth to pay for ppf... But ceramic coating is just spraying or coating a liquid and just wiping.. so for just 50ml liquid and no manual work involved so ceramic is costly...

I disagree i am ising 3m scotchguard ppf on my Audi Q5 Quattro since 3 yrs and the ppf is still running good and no yellow or fade i can c....plus the ppf comes with a 8 yrs of warranty so idk what kind of ppf u r using ...but if u use goood quality ppf it wont fade become yellow

i don't understand this .. first things first PPF is costlier and more effective .... especially if u want to avoid swirl marks and basic scratches. Ceramic makes sense only if u park cars in a garage and don't wash regularly. Do ppf at service center or outside the cost is very similar. If u want to protect ur car paint get a ppf done! is it expensive , Yes! if not its ok, clean your car with caution to avoid as much scratches as posssible.

Since rats enter through the underbody and then the engine compartment, it is important to always apply rodent repellent there. When they attempt to get to the underbody, the overpowering odour is bound to drive them away.

I think he's confused because PPF is way more expensive than ceramic coating. Ceramic coating costs around 30-40k whereas PPF costs around 1-1.5L depending on the car

Ceramic is way way wayyyy too cheap as compared to PPF. PPF cost ₹1100 per square feet. I am talking about good TPU based PPF, not a plastic cover.

mene bikr pr khud kiya hai ceramic, 1200 me puri bike pr 3 coating ho jati h. Aur PPF ka kharcha 3500 tha wo bhi sirf tank aur baki main portion ka,not for complete bike. aur 1200 me mene Alloy tk coat kr diye hai 3 bar. mast chal rhi h ceramic

Auto paints are already of highest quality and undergoes huge quality process and tests . It lasts entire life of vehicle. If at all required go for coating after 5 -6 years when paint really shows fading and dullness . New vehicle coating is just scam to make money by ASC . Install leg guard , paniers , extra light , in the same price , further purchase good quality helmet safety gears for money saved . Invest in high quality engine oil and fuel . Use wax based cream polish

Bhaiji very true Technically speaking till date there is no documented proof that graphene coating works, Its true that graphene is 200 times stronger than steel but at atomic level , till date scientist are trying to make a graphene compound which can stick to car paint... due to its molecular structure and physical properties till date it is not possible to convert gph into coating material .Graphene coating is a big big lie. Stick to Good quality ceramic coating.

Taflon coating exist hi nhi karti. Teflon coating ke naam pr bewkoof banaya jaata h. Antirust ka jayada benefit nhi h. Rust lagega but thoda kam. Care krke rakhoge to kabhi nhi lagega.
