Thank you for that journey around the Fox Creek area. I live in Red Deer, Alberta, just 2 hours south of Edmonton. I hope you ended up making decent money driving the oil fields. It's rough work. But, you did it, AND the ice roads! Now that is a resume (CV) to be proud of!

Some of the best therapy is for a person to converse with another person, it relieves a lot of anxiety. Equally important is to have someone to honestly listen and care what you have to say! You are never boring Iwona, contrare, you are a very fascinating source of delightful information on "life"! I love how you care about your truck "Angel". To me that says a lot about your strength of character and priorities. Will you ever find "high gear" in Angel again! lol Very nice video! Regards, Ron

Iwona, I think that was one of the most enjoyable drives I ever had. I am an ex-driver (highway only) and your comments on, and descriptions of, the driving conditions and work environment kept me interested from beginning to end. Yes I stayed with you all the way. I think you are a special person and I believe even Wonder Woman pales in comparison to you. Take care and safe driving.

Yes we have heard sories like that, but the best was the guy who was fishing and brought up a motorcycle from WWII, not only that, but the headlight was still on. You can turn off the engine, wildlife has many more reasons to fear humans than the other way around. The one to be fearful of is the two legged wolf.

Wow... that must have been quite the experience. Could have been anything, but most likely was a cougar by the sounds of it. The cougar, or mountain lion, is Canada’s largest wild cat. If You Meet A Cougar... DO NOT RUN. Back away slowly, always looking them in the eye. Sudden movement or flight may trigger an instinctive attack. Never turn your back on a cougar - face the cat and remain upright. Do all you can to make yourself look bigger. Hold a coat, branch or any other object over your head, or wave it around. Don’t crouch down or try to hide. Yell, throw rocks, speak loudly and firmly. Convince the cougar that you are a threat, not prey. Always give the cougar an avenue of escape. Anyhow, hope you're back problems don't persist. Take care of yourself and remember to exercise when you can. You're young and can bounce back if you take good care.

Hi Iwona, greetings from Germany. Glad to see and hear that you are safe and nothing happend with that Puma. Considering those conditions I would also suggest a Pistol or probably a shot-gun if you are allowed to get one in Canada. Also having some extra worklights to light up the surrounding environment might be a good idea. I am watching your channel since about 2 Years I think, so when you where driving heavy loads across Europe. I used to drive car-transport truck back then before I switched back to my profession as a System-Administrator, but I still like to watch you and other YT on their 'Road-Adventures'. This beeing said: I wish you a good rest, sleep well, stay safe and keep all tires on the road. :-)
@jetronic255 жыл бұрын
Pistol or shot-gun is good to have in Germanistan because this pro islamist human garbage is more dangerous than puma
@jamesstepp99825 жыл бұрын
MOST drivers I know keep at least one gun within reach,even where they're "prohibited",because if you're attacked,it's better to be judged by twelve than carried by six. B'sides,unless there's a major accident or you end up needing to defend yourself with a gun,nobody but you will ever know it's there.
@aboversite6 жыл бұрын
It is more likely you saw a lynx. They are much more common. They are smaller than a puma (cougar) and have a short tail and are not to be feared unless they are with their kittens. Truckers sometimes feed them near parking areas.

Kanada ma przyrode najlepiej zachowana w Ameryce Polnocnej. Przychodza w mniej zaludnionych okolicach do gospodarstw i business. Brunatne (Kodiak) sa Albercie i BC. Te sa naprawde grozne. Atakuja znienacka i zjadaja ofiary. W ciagu mojego ponad 30 letniego zamieszkiwania w Kanadzie i US, bardziej uciazliwymi zwierzetami byly kojoty. Takie mniejsze niz wilki ale grozne dla zwierzat chodowlanych, psow i kotow. Byly tez wypadki atakow na dzieci I kobiety. Warto wspomniec o kleszczach (ticks), ktore roznosza Lyme disease, zakazenie Borrelia typu bacteria. Opanowuja mozg i wywoluja ciezkie powiklania. Tysiace zakazen rocznie a symptomy w ciagu tygodnia a czasami znacznie pozniej. Zawsze po pobycie w lesie powinno sie sprawdzic skore, czy nie mamy kleszczy. Powodzenia Iwona w nowej pracy.
