Now that Zoro got Enma and Sanji the raid suit, finally they catch up a bit, but both are external powerups. If you take away Enma and the raid suit they lose 40% of their power. Luffy learned now Ryou, which is an internal powerup. It makes Luffy now crazy strong.

@@joemar7121 you can't measure by time solely because luffy defeated many who are older and have much more experience than him, we can see that Garp is the strongest marine and that physique is inherited by dragon and luffy (ivankov saying multiple time that luffy body/power/will is more than a miracle and it's normal because he is dragon's son) Luffy is fast learner (fighting wise), has a huge amount of stamina, durable rubbery body, can use all 4 forms of advanced haki, has the power to hear all the voices,.. yes luffy can't beat kaido one on one the normal way but using his creativity and his devil fruit he can, he only needs to come with gear 5 using the advanced conqueror haki or awaken hisdevil fruit, and btw kaido can't kill him self has more to it because he can simply drown in the water and die, he only look for an epic way to die like Roger, oden and whitebird died.

Totally agree but I do I think they’re starting to find a better balance tho. I find the anime is stretching out moments that are actually cool like big mom vs kaido. You better believe Oden vs kaido will be more in-depth in anime which I personally welcome as the manga was underwhelming as hell for that fight. I even find this scene decent as it’s actually showing luffy putting in work which will make chapter 1000’s big moment a bit less jarring.

@@seamusofarrell9682 The thing is, when you change minor details, stretch things, etc over and over, you inevitably lose part of the truth of the story. Kaido vs BM wasn't supposed to be some big, elongated fight, it was a momentary sky splitting clash, and then a drunken reunion. They mustve not seen each other in ages, after having been crewmates before. They did this with other moments throughout Wano too, Luffy vs Kaido is another big example. They drew it out such that it looked like if Luffy just had a little more power and stamina, he could've stood a fighting chance. But the point of that fight was to show that 1) the gap in their strength is absolutely and utterly enormous, Luffy's strongest attacks at that time couldn't even damage Kaido and 2) Kaido's strength so far eclipses even Katakuri's, who we saw was extremely strong, that just one attack was powerful enough that it instantaneously snapped Luffy's seemingly unbreakable will, which Katakuri failed to do even after pummeling Luffy for like 12 hours straight, and Luffy exhausting himself by using G4 twice. It was meant to represent how Kaido wasn't an enemy that could be overcame by Luffy alone, and that he wasn't just a step, or even a big step, up from Luffy's previous opponents, like Crocodile was, for example. But by stretching that fight, they corrupted this entirely. Anime-onlys will have a very different perception of that incident than manga readers, even by them just making some relatively small changes to the scene I'd suggest that the idiots at Toei make One Piece seasonal so that the quality of the anime and its pacing can improve, but they're so far gone that it'd feel tangibly much different if they were to do so, and would affect how future binge watchers perceive the arc, like the pace just randomly sped up by a ton after a certain Act or something

yeah, also the problem is that the anime is so close to the manga, that they have to strech out every scene possible.
