hey, I drew along what you did and kind of tried to understand the process a bit more and I think my gestures have already improved by having a different mindset towards it than before (where I just straight up drew the contour), thank you for putting this out there!

honestly.. I did 30 second and 1 minute gestures for almost a year.. and I saw almost no improvement.. its when I focused on 5 and 10 minute gestures is when I really started to improve. Maybe 1 minute gestures are good for people who can draw already.. but for beginners... not so much. at least not in my case

When i first go to art class i had to draw primary form with proper measure method in like a few hours with tons of mistake so i can guess. You know, start with something easier like drawing a straightline without using a ruler or dividing a line to two or third.

I'm not really thinking about line if action either when I'm drawing these poses. Just how different parts of the body interrelate. And like the negative spaces.

its not very healthy to resize the drawing tho, for practice purpose.... shoud doit having in mind proportions always and trying to not resize at all !!!
