I don't think people will ever stop making art, but the issue is whether art is valued by society. And economic value is determined by how rare something is. Ironically, the same thing is happening to photography: now that everyone has a smartphone, the value of photos has decreased, making it harder for professional photographers to earn money.

1. Try to visualize what you want to draw before you start drawing 2. Know exactly what you wanna draw before you start drawing 3.1 Learn the basics (proportions, anatomy, perspective) 3.2 If you can't draw it, hide it 4. Start with a light sketch and then redefine the lines 5. Expand your visual library

Why I don't find these are supposed to be gesture drawing? This is outlining Correct me if I'm wrong
@Jaydraws6012 ай бұрын
Outlining?
@pablosauraklein22192 ай бұрын
Actually, I'm with her on this. Gesture drawings are supposed to encapture the gesture focusing mainly on the movement of the body and only using as many details as necessary for the pose. You on the other hand seemed to capture everything in your drawings. This is not supposed to be an offense. I think your drawings look awesome. I just would have categorized them differently, if you hadn't said they were gesture drawings. :)

I don't think these are gesture drawings. Gesture drawing is about depicting the gesture using as few lines as possible(proko has some videos explaining this) while you're clearly drawing the contours. These are really good contour drawings though.
@ilnumero12342 ай бұрын
Are you sure that you are doing gesture? To me it looks more contour drawing

what is the name of the black timer that you are using
@Jaydraws6013 ай бұрын
It's the default iphone clocks timer. I edited it to look like that on the video
@noah81623 ай бұрын
I think you shouldn't do the same pose when decreasing the timer, since you have already observed it in the previous attempts it's not an accurate representation of how much can be done in that time. New reference each timer.

Well, you did an amazing job without using references while AI needed at least billions to make that illustration alone, also the kids from your illustration looks more human and have more personality. It looks like there s a story in that picture something that the AI one s lacks. I seen a lot of AI generated images and a lot of them lacks emotions, but your art really gives personality to the characters and I like the mood that you tried to convey in your work.
