There are two units dedicated to inversion (99,100) and, in addition, inversion is also mentioned in units related to conditionals. What's more, many exercises are available in Improve your Skills for Advanced: Use of English. This book is dedicated for students who are preparing to take the CAE exam.

Thank you for your video Paul. I am currently teaching inversion to a group of adult learners here in Chile. I don´t get the opportunity to do this very often, as most learners have problems learning basic word order and I feel that they need to master this first. Otherwise they will just continue using Spanish word order when they are writing in English.

With regards to inversion, the adverb, sometimes, is interesting. Consider: 1) Sometimes, I used to see her in town (impossible to invert). 2) Sometimes would I see her in her in town (same meaning but inversion is optional).
