The Reed's Road To Loretta's continued, with the next stop Pleasure Valley!
Team Two Two headed out to practice in preparation for the upcoming races, learning the track's constant change of pace. Other than a bike mishap, everyone moved on from the practice day on a positive note. Stay tuned for when we drop the gates on the Reed's Road To Loretta's!
Welcome to TwoTwoTV! We're the Reeds. Chad Reed is a multi-time supercross and motocross champion and the record holder for the most main event starts in AMA supercross history, with 265 starts! Ironically when Chad retired from racing, the kids decided to start. It’s a full circle movement for the Reed family. Join us as we navigate retirement and also starting again. We bring you on the journey as our kids learn with Chad and Ellie. Taking a fresh approach to coaching and learning with a major focus on fundamentals and solid foundations. Our hope is the viewers can also learn and be inspired as the kids strive for their own success in this great sport. We hope you enjoy the ride!

When everyone retired Chad kept racing to earn not only a dollar. But respect in the industry. He is now getting repayed for that body of work in a foreign country. That he embraced. This story is awesome. Dont be haters. Be like this story at what ever level or sport you can. 😊

Keep pushing! Roll into each race like it’s yours to lose. Years ago I was on a team that won numerous off-road races (Baja 1000, 500 etc) and the key was confidence. We unloaded at every race knowing that we had the best equipment and skill set. I have no doubt that those bikes can beat anything out there, and obviously Chad has the knowledge to make champions. Ride from the heart - not the brain. You two have it!!!

Love the purple rims! 15:40 Tate's line double, double double on the bumps coming out of the corner! 👌 Earlier in the video I thought you were going to double into them! Love the content and the progression from both you two young rippers. Thank you Chad for talking about how you have to trust your front end while it's out of control on tracks like that. Good helpful information!

I noticed Kiah has a less hunched posture, especially cornering. I see the speed coming in both Tate and Kiah. Great coaching and great work ethic. The progression is exciting to watch. Corner speed is where it's at. W.T.G. TEAM REED !!!

I remember when other parents gave mine a hard time for letting me homeschool and travel all over the country chasing the Loretta's dream and coincidentally I was a Chad Reed super fan and have became an even bigger watching him now. Best memories I have and wouldn't change a thing about it come from family time at the tracks. Oh , I also graduated college , then went on to get several professional certifications and became a successful Financial Planner. KEEP DOING WHAT YOUR DOING REEDS.

Hello Twotwo from South Africa its always fun and happiness when i watch your videos, seen how much the kids have really progressed how ever its worries me of the danger this sport carries. hearing what happened to young Jantz Grodzicki in 2013 was just tragic he was most certainly a huge inspiration to all kids who out preformed everyone on the mx track. I Pray and always hope that nothing like that ever happens to your kids its just very worrying and saddens me when i hear of such news. He was a great kid and he totally loved this sport. Guys please be safe. ok just promise me.

i remember that race and still watch it from time to time or when i'm showing my boy something. 2 strokes will nip up if you use engine braking slowing down from high revs, we used to beach race (mostly main jet ). when the throttle is shut the only lube for the piston is coming through the pilot jet so you must clutch and give constant blips on the throttle to get oil into the cylinder or constant 1/2 to get a good run out. thanks for the vid , go you good things go

@elliereed_mrstwotwo
@elliereed_mrstwotwo 3 ай бұрын
We are new too 😂 When it comes to the regional. They only take 6 kids to Loretta’s . So u have 72 kids / people per class ( roughly ) And they only take 6 which is really TOUGH. So people do more areas to have more regionals to get another opportunity to make the top 40 in the country. We are chasing races and good experience. So the qualifying races just offer good gate drops and practice for us. Many families just want that spot at Loretta’s. And it IS very tough. Also if they have a bike mechanical or weather incident and they don’t make the regional - then they can try again. Does that make sense 😅

AS PARENTS, ASK YOURSELF THESE QUESTIONS. IS MY PROMOTING MY KIDS INTO MOTOCROSS FOR ME OR FOR THEM? I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT NONE OF THEM HAVE SPENT ANY TIME IN ANY QUALITY, EDUCATIONAL FACILITY. WHAT IF ONE OF YOUR CHILDREN WITH THE PROPER EDUCATION CAME UP WITH SOMETHING LIKE THE CURE TO PARKINSON'S DISEASE OR BIRTH DEFECTS? HOW WOULD YOU EVER KNOW IF YOU DIDN'T GIVE THEM THE OPPORTUNITY???? U SACRIFICED MY RACING CAREER FOR AN EDUCATION AND HAVE NEVER REGRETTED IT. I HAVE KNOWLEDGE WHICH IS POWER AND I CAN SURVIVE NO MATTER WHAT THE ENVIRONMENT AND MY EDUCATION HAS BROUGHT ME A BETTER QUALITY OF LIFE AND A LEVEL OF PERCEPTION AND UNDERSTANDING THAT I WOULD NOT HAVE KNOWN WITHOUT IT..... MY EDUCATION WILL SERVE ME UNTIL I DIE OR DON'T KNOW ANY BETTER WHERE MOTOCROSS IS A VISERAL THING THAT DOESN'T SERVE ME AT ALL. IT'S JUST A FUN EXPERIENCE UNTIL I CAN'T SWING MY LEG OVER ONE ANYMORE.....
