I have just started learning french and your videos are helping me a lot. My teacher us not to good in explaination and she doesn’t use any english word to explain which makes it very difficult for me to understand what she is saying.. I did not know that 'de l' ' was applicable to both gender nouns if they start with a vowel or 'h' . I'm always pleased when I understand and learn a new rule!

Omg this is so confusing when it's in the negative but I will practice, practice and practice! Great work! Your knowledge in English is invaluable!

Just remember its always gonna be “de" if its negative! de or d’ when the next word starts with a vowel. Just look at the whole sentence see if there is any negative like pas or jamais and immediately think of “de”. Good luck!
