Had a Seiko dive watch in the Navy until someone liberated it from my wall locker. Very nice watch and I miss it.

Glad to see a watch video. I notice you have a bit of a collection. Definitely interested in more, especially military / tactical variety. Casio Master of G, Marathon, MTM, etc. The ones that are reasonably affordable.

Nice one Jeff! I have a Gen2 Baby Monster Orange Seiko and it's currently my only Seiko but I love it. Eventually I'll be adding a Prospex SRPH75 diver to my rotation. I also have a Tudor BB 2017 Stainless steel and I use it more often at the office. And yeah, more watches videos man!

I just bought the original Hamliton which I think goes for like 300-400 bucks and it's a manual watch. Worked for years.

There's was a timepiece given to special units and teams in the 90's/00's, I found it once, can't remember what it was called, but it had the ability for a TL to set a timer and every watch around it would sync to it and countdown

I ended up with a Ball Fireman Enterprise for app $900. 40mm, ETA 2824-2 top grade, 100m water resistance and most important of all radio; active gas tubes for lume that lasts 10 - 15 years. As you americans say. Time is on the Ball. The expression come from Ball watches that made the railways go on time. As for military watches look at the German Luftwaffe watches still made today by the original manufactorers; Laco (cheap) and Stowa (resenable). Do not bother with IWC that is in the silly Rolex stock exchange..

Wasn’t expecting a watch video I’m a fan of my Marathon GPM. Same sort of feel as this one. Seiko NH35 movement, field watch style and construction. For me the biggest thing, ironically, was how small it is. I have a small wrist and small field watches are like the only option for me. Even this Praesidus would be too big for me, unfortunately

How often do you have to wear it to keep the movement powered? I think something like this would be cool to have, but I don’t think I could wear it every day, since I work around chemicals. Need something that’s easy to rinse off. My everyday wear watch is a Casio G-Shock GW-M500F. I’ve been wearing G-Shocks since the early 2000s. The auto time syncing function was a lifesaver when setting the timing for SINCGARS frequency hopping. Didn’t have to find someone with a plugger to get accurate Zulu time.
