Praesidus Type A-11 review
Looking for a quality military style watch? How about purchasing one from a company that supports war veterans?
Many thanks to Pacific Concepts for sending in their 42mm Praesidus Type A-11 watch (Tom Rice edition).
This was an emotional video for me to film (remembering my Grandfather and everything he went through during his military service).
I really thought hard about everything I said, as to be respectful to all. As such, the pace of this video is a little slower and more considered than most.
In this watch review I give my honest opinion on this watch, it’s history, my personal feelings towards this type of war reissue, and whether in my opinion you should buy this watch.

Nice looking watch. But it's not a re-issue. Re-issues are done by companies who actually made the originals. Hence the word "re-issue." Of the three companies who issued them in World War II, only Bulova is left (Elgin and Waltham were the other two). Plus the A-11 was typically 32mm. Ideal size for a field watch would be 36mm like the iconic field watch Rolex Explorer. 42mm is not a field watch. That's a size for a dive watch.
