Great Video! Don't forget to heat up the new bottle of lube and even the rear axle with a Halogen spot light before the job so it all flows quickly.

When you took off the fuel tank did you have to take off the fuel selector too? I’m having problems putting the tank on then putting the fuel selector on and I can’t get it on otherwise.

Honestly, I don't remember. I made that video over 2 yes ago and sold that prairie soon after
@lombardozarateiii69203 жыл бұрын
Are you talking about the petcock on off reserve? That has to be taken off with a Phillips in order for you to take off the gas tank and to put it bk on also disconnect fuel line that’s goes from petcock to carb.

Friction disc's could be worn? Have you checked the fluid for cleanliness and adjusted the cables/linkage?

DO IT ALL GARAGE no how would I do that
@blackops36223 жыл бұрын
DO IT ALL GARAGE I just changed the needle in the carb, when I first got the bike it had been sitting forever. It was not well maintained. The front brakes don’t work at all the lever moves freely and the back brakes work a little. Both worked a little when I got the bike.

If you just have a basic gear case, it should take 80w90 hypoid. If you have wet brakes in the rear-end, it takes a different fluid and I believe it's called gear and wet brake oil. I'd call a kawi dealer and give them your vin. They should be able to look all that up for you.
