The mantis was distracted and that last was far bigger (and more powerful) than the other birds. No way would the mantis have fought off that bird. Good to see that theropod dinosaur DNA being put to work as that bird demolished the mantis and ate it. 😂

Mantis' are not good predators to stop bug infestations in gardens and on crops because they eat beneficial insects as well as the pests. I really wish they are banned. Lady bugs are good and there are others.
