We were out witnessing at a local park when we ran into several people who were sitting under a pavilion. As I talked with them, I found out that they were dealing with a lot of health issues. He also explained that he knew God had called him to start a ministry, to preach and minister healing, and that he wasn't currently doing any of those things. Stay tuned to see what was holding him back and how anyone can begin to fulfill all that God has created them for.

My Testimony:
I grew up in church, but instead of knowing Jesus, I only knew religion. This led me to live a very hypocritical lifestyle. By the time I was in college, from the outside looking in, it seemed like I had everything together in my life. I was in the military, getting paid to go to college. I had plans to become a financial planner and expected to make a six figure income shortly after completing my degree. I had joined a fraternity and had access to all the alcohol, drugs and girls that I desired. In spite of all of that, on the inside I was broken, depressed, and empty as I searched through the world for something to satisfy my void.
I radically encountered God in a rock bottom moment and everything in my life changed from the inside-out. Instead of pursuing my own life plans, God rerouted my life into full-time ministry. After joining a local church, I began to voluntarily serve for several years. Over time that led into a church staff position opening up for me. As a result I’ve had the opportunity to wear many hats including: administration, overseeing media, sound, & lights, leading worship, preaching, leading outreach ministry, and many other tasks that have arisen with ministry. While being faithful with the small, the Lord started to open doors for me to preach and equip the saints at other churches as well.
God has expanded His reach through the ministry to include not only many different states in the U.S., but also several different nations. Via in person encounters and social media platforms including KZfaq, Facebook, and Instagram, we're reaching the world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
God has given me a beautiful wife named Abigail, and blessed us with two lovely children named Nora and Will. Abigail is currently on staff at our church as the Worship Pastor. Our hearts desire is to love God, love others, and walk as Jesus walked.

My wife has the same exact issues. She's struggling with her greed, on one hand she claims to be saved, on the other hand she would steal, lie and cheat to satisfy her flesh. I try to explain that to her but unfortunately, she has her church people and psychiatrist to affirm her, telling her it's normal to keep stealing, lying, as long as you "repent". Please pray for us to have holy spirit change our heart.

Sadly that’s all incorrect. She can repent but unless she changes, it will be eternal damnation for her. We all fail and fall short of the glory of God. However, we that claim to know God and continue to sin, we are the epitome of hypocrisy.

@@devanvandervelde2226we all should be disciples to some degree. That's what love will do. Want others to hear the good news and be saved. In whatever capacity the Holy Spirit leads you. If you volunteer at a hospital, homeless shelter, at work, at the store, we should always be ready to give the reason for our hope and joy. And no we shouldn't always wait for someone to ask, because that may never happen. We are supposed to be the light of the world. To proclaim the gospel. The testimony of Christ. In whatever situation we are in. Whether called to street preach, or just walk around and talk to folks, or at work, as we volunteer, as we help the elderly neighbors and widows....always share the hope we have in Christ and why. We are all called differently. As far as the avenues. But the message is still ours to carry and share. And if you don't suffer for being a Christian, I'd say that's the exception not the rule.

I heard a sermon recently that caused a crisis of faith for me. He was a preacher experienced in spiritual warfare in Africa. But he had lustful thoughts that he'd been indulging in. And God spoke to him harshly rebuking him for allowing sin to grow. I felt panicked about my own abilities to serve Jesus. But I think it's the parable of the talents. I'm not called to preach or anything, but I can continue to share Jesus with my apartment complex. And pray for them to come to Jesus. And I think the point of the sermon, probably was too examine the heart and repent of sinful thoughts or actions. But its ok to not be perfect, just renounce it and repent. Ask him to change my thoughts. (My brain developed a habit of saying cuss words in my head. So I'm working on rewriting my brain.)

We cannot continue in sin, the bible says 'if' we sin not 'when' we sin, of course it is impossible to overcome sin without God and the power of the Holy Spirit but ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness, repent and He is faithful and just to forgive you. The Lord calls us all to preach the word of God to all flesh, and I think that's a beautiful thing that you pray for your fellow neighbors, the Lord gives different gifts to all and we all have differnt callings, all members(children of God) of the body(which is Christ) are differnet but all are needed, for you it is to pray for others. May God continue to use you and give you strength. God Bless You.

Was this John Mulinde? The same sermon stressed me out for a while until I got under the teaching of Yankee Arnold, and Jesse Martinez from bibleline. It's a radically different message to this but it actually makes sense and relieves conflict, rightly dividing the word, explaining the difference between salvation and discipleship. We cant be simultaneously dead to the law, and obligated to have our own righteousness. The bible instructs us not to always listen to people that claim to have visions or experiences, especially when they don't line up with the word of God. This can cause deep distress and rob you of the joy of your salvation. A gift that holds out its hand and ask for payments, isn't much of a gift. Praying that you will come into good teaching, and know the amazing grace you have in Christ. ❤️ reach out if you need

@@MRlatsinos I don't need a teacher to relieve my mind of feelings. I have a intimate relationship with my Father. He is always there for his children and welcomes them back. I felt convicted and afraid, because Jesus does take sin very seriously. And we're not supposed to live in sin. We are supposed to repent and pray for help against sin. It's a free gift of cleaniness! But choosing to roll around in the mud after being clean? That's intentionally spinning against God and his holiness. I'm not talking about walking through the mud, as that's part of living in this world. But choosing to indulge in known sin? That is a scary thing to do! But Jesus reminded me that I'm a daughter of Eloihim. And that's more valuable than any royal family title on earth. He loves me and I owe him everything gladly.

If you know His love, you will be different. I think we need to first know what the gospel is, know who we really are, know what God gave to us with Jesus Christ. Seek Him with your whole heart, ask Holy Spirit to baptize you. I was a lukewarm Christian for over 10 years but 3 years ago when something happened in my family and I couldn’t depend on myself any more, I came to God and dived into Bible. I was hungry for His Word. I asked Holy Spirit to baptize me. He came and he opened my spiritual eyes. Now I understand the spiritual warfare. We are the battleground. Who do we obey? Learn the truth about ourselves. If we are in flesh, we cannot overcome. We must kill the flesh, have a mind that I am dead so nothing can offend me, hurt me, discourage me. It’s no longer that I live but Jesus Christ lives in me. We must learn to be in the Spirit. I recommend you read Romans, Ephesians, Colossians etc, listen to good pastor’s teaching on them. I pray that God opens your eyes. Catch every thought that’s against the truth and speak the truth. “You shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This is a journey. We must learn to submit our will to God and follow Jesus to fulfill God’s will for us. The devil will do everything he can to destroy us, and have us not to walk the way that God intends us to walk. People are not reject you, but Jesus when you preach gospel. It’s not really they reject but the spirits that influence or possess them. But gospel must be preached through us.

It can be stressful forsure. What I've done previously is pray that the Lord would give me the words that they need to hear at that very hour when I feel I'm being lead to witness to someone. His word says He will (Matthew 10:16-20). It may not be what we think they need to hear, but the Spirit knows their heart and knows how to get through to them. He may bring up only part of a verse to your rememberance (2 or 3 words), but step out in faith and the rest will come to you. I also recommend 1 Corinthians 2:1-5. Paul touches on how if we try to speak with too eloquent of words that it can compromise the message. The Holy Spirit is the ultimate teacher, and He teaches not only through speech, but through power and demonstration. Just try to flow with the conversation and you'll be fine. God Bless ❤

If God can use Abraham, who lied (twice!) about his wife to save his own hide and then went outside of God's will with Ishmael, if God can use Moses who didn't want to speak in front of people (he lied when he said he couldn't; in Hebrews we see he was actually very well capable,) If God can use David, who committed adultery with Uriah's wife and committed murder by having Uriah killed, If God can use Peter who was thick-headed and rash, denying Him three times, If God can use Paul, who murdered so many God-fearing Christians, and if God can use me, someone who was timid, shy (still am shy to some degree,) who struggled with lust and porngraphy and sexual sin (doing a lot better now by the grace of God - still some ways to go,) God can use you, friend. Your doubts and fears are no match for His faith and assurance of His own completeness, and of His own completeness in you. It's a matter of laying aside your pride and taking God's opinion of you over your own. He only needs a little to make a lot, and that little He requires of us is our "yes." Ask Him to work these things out, one step at a time, and work to fully commit. God can do it, and He's willing. The question is, are you? (See Philippians 2:13.) If you're at least willing to be made willing, that's enough. Start there.

Andrew Wommack Ministries, Greg Fritz, and Barry Bennet, are some I can wholeheartedly recommend for teaching on healing. Simply put, the truth is God wants you well. And why is that? It's because He loves you. Believe that, be convinced of His love for you, and pray. There are other specific things that are good to know, which you will find if you listen to teaching and study this out. But you don't have to necessarily know a lot; believe on Him, His power, and His willingness. Trust in His opinion of you, and what He says.

if the gift of speaking in tongues were active in the church today, it would be performed in agreement with Scripture. It would be a real and intelligible language (1 Corinthians 14:10). It would be for the purpose of communicating God’s Word with a person of another language (Acts 2:6-12). It would be exercised in the church in agreement with the command God gave through Paul, “If anyone speaks in a tongue, two-or at the most three-should speak, one at a time, and someone must interpret. If there is no interpreter, the speaker should keep quiet in the church and speak to himself and God” (1 Corinthians 14:27-28). It would also be in accordance with 1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.”

How do I get over lust? I'm at the same stage where I've already heard all of it but it's just hard. I'm starting to read the Bible now but even then i cant find motivation. And I already understand that I'm supposed to be out of my comfort zone and read when i dont want to.

Ask God to remove your evil desires and to cleanse you. Turn your eyes upon Jesus and desire the heavenly things and not the things of this Earth. God says He always leaves a way out of temptation and that we will not be tempted beyond what we are able, ask God to show you the way out. Don't put yourself in a situation where you will be tempted. Cut off anything in your life that is causing you to sin, don't tempt God or even part with sin. Many times when I am tempted or the devil attacks my mind, I would sing a song about Jesus's love for me and I would also speak out and quote scriptures that counter the temptation, and I would say in the name of Jesus flee from me Satan and I would just pray to God because I am weak on my own and I would ask the Lord to cleanse my mind with the blood of Jesus.

Also, If you have truly repented of your sins and have given you life to Jesus ask the father for the Holy Spirit and He says ask and you shall receive, the Spirit will help you to live a pure and Holy life and will guide you. And if you have already received the Holy Spirit ask to be filled. Pray right now and ask God to remove this desire and ask God to fill you with the Holy Spirit. I will pray for you also. God Bless You don't give up, it says the righteous man falls 7 times and gets back up, never give up, to he who endures until the end shall be saved. Read the Bible out of love and the desire to get closer to the lord and not just as a chore.

Resist. I, too, struggle, but I noticed that as a flee from temptation and bury myself in the word during those times, the attacks weaken. As you continue, the attacks may get stronger, but that is the devil's desperation to prevent your progress in Christ.

My wife was healed of endometriosis the issue the woman suffered from. I don’t recommend studying spiritual roots of diseases for doing evangelism. That is a time to heal first sanctify there after. However, for believers struggling to get healing even though they know God as healer and ask for healing in Jesus’s name, it may be time to ask God if there is something you are holding on to that needs to go. When faith came over me that endometriosis had to go, I laid hands on my wife and she suddenly remembered when puberty began for her she was ashamed to tell her own mother she needed feminine products. She renounced that shame of her femininity, heat came into her womb and she was healed.

Ok siblings, I need some wisdom: When it comes to praying for healing, my impression is that God is willing to give us the healing we're looking for but on His side of eternity. So, I'm weary when I see folks pray to command sickness out immediately, at that hour. I love the idea but unfortunately those charismatic wolves in sheep's clothing out there have totally saturated the world and proven that this doesn't work. Again, I'm aware that God is probably not listening to their prayers and he did say that we have the keys to the kingdom. Still, I feel like it's more of a lamp rub then a key turn...

I would love to know how many people you’ve actually helped become a Christian using this method. You know what you need to do. Have a load of food there. Hand out burgers or hot dogs and serve just like Jesus served and speak to each person individually about Jesus rather than this way that we all know only pushes people away.

I have a question. What's your advice for Young christian man That are Waiting for marriage ( I should say i'm done waiting for marriage, really) I am twenty-two years old, and i've never had a girlfriend or been in a relationship. With a girl( I'm Autistic so it has hindered my life for a very long time, and it hindered me from going places to meet girls) And I have always hated being a Virgin for a long time.And this has been going back-and-forth in my mind.For many year since I became a christian when I Was 15 years old. It Has drove me crazy over the years I get so sick of being alone. So sick of not being in a relationship. Even last night I just felt so empty. Inside and just wanted. To be in a relationship but I do have to say I probably wouldn't marry a christian girl or be in a relationship with one Because they're not marriage material The same thing goes with most modern women in the culture in the west Even among conservative girls I'd have more luck if I married a buddhist a hindu or muslim

Why would the Lord call you to do something if He knows you can't do it? It's our choice to be obedient to His calling or to reject it. He also says if you love me obey my commands, He also commands us all to preach the word of God to all flesh, so by this 'work' we show our love for Him. It is not by works "alone" but also by faith which you are correct on. Doesn't Jesus deserve it all? He has done everything for us, if we can't even do the things He has called us to do, do you think we deserve the kingdom? If we reject our calling and are disobient, then we do not love Him.
@breesty4229
@breesty4229 2 ай бұрын
@@JuliusCzure To your first question, that’s a question for God. Of course he can and does call people to do things they’re incapable of, like calling the unelected to him. I missed the verse where it specifically says that works are required for SALVATION. if that were the case, deathbed conversions wouldn’t exist. Even if we did do everything we called us to do, us filthy scraps of garbage, would still not deserve his kingdom. Let me ask, if you obey 99% of all of God‘s instructions and rejected 1% of them for one reason or another, will you go to heaven? If so, where is the cut off line? And where did you get that figure? If your answer is no, how have you determined that you have heard everything correctly that God has called you to do? You see when you invoke works into everything salvation becomes the most difficult complicated obstacle course possible.
@JuliusCzure
@JuliusCzure 2 ай бұрын
@breesty4229 Of course, we are not perfect and never will be. There's a difference between someone who is disobient but then acknowledges and returns to God and someone who completly rejects Gods calling, just like Jonah, who was disobient to God, was swallowed by a whale, but then God rescued him. No one's perfect. Some may stumble, but you have to repent and put your faith in God. It shouldn't be a question of "How little can I do to enter the kingdom?" but, " Did I do enough." Also 'death bed coversions' are a different sinario, there's a difference between those who have a heard about God and know their duties and those who have just heard about God which is more rare of a situation. Just like the robber on the side of Jesus when he was crucified, ask Jesus to remember him in His kingdom, and Jesus said he would be in His kingdom. But this robber had just come to knowledge of truth, and if he wasn't crucified that day he would had followed Jesus from that day on, but many of us Christians have heard about the Lord and our purpose our whole lives and decided not to follow God and then on our death bed's we think we can just ask for forgiveness and then be all right, we also have the new testament today and almost the whole world knows or has heard about God especially with the technology today. Our true heart is shown if we think like this because we don't truly love the Lord because if we loved the Lord, it would show in our actions.

I applaud your efforts but I have feedback for your technique . Diving right into scripture 'without asking' is a turn off for most people. The most successful coaches, therapists and healers lead the conversation with OPEN ENDED QUESTIONS to lead the conversation.. Use your personal testimony FIRST. Share what YOU learned. Ask them to teach you and draw out their own wisdom. People are way more likely to take their own advice rather than advice from a stranger. Everyone has spirit in them already, access to divine wisdom, its your job to draw it out.
