First startup and look at the new powerplant for the drift trike, this Predator 420cc. Makes 13-15hp and should be more than enough to get me into trouble on the trike. Even better; I had a coupon. Also did a little mod to the intake. No clue if there is anything to be gained besides cool points, but I'll take the cool points.

The greatest thing about this engine is that it’s more powerful than the Honda GX 390 and it only costs 1/4 of that engine

Does the electric start work out the box? Or is there more parts needed? I am looking to swap one of these into an old Kawasaki mule with a tired motor. Thanks

I use this engine on a large air compressor. I have modified it some as it had some issues with the emission BS it had on it and the stupid flat panel air filter assembly. I also put a small car muffler on it although it didnt make much of a difference...

I'd like to put a predator or honda clone 212cc or even a 420cc on one of those big industrial fans. lol I wonder if it's potentially dangerous in that the fan blades might come apart from the high rpm? I would also probably make the belt really tight and add on a strong belt tensioner like from a car to prevent slippage. LOL, I have a bunch of crazy project ideas.

put the fan on a shaft and run a pulley behind it. As long as you pulley it within a safe final rpm for the fan there's no reason it wouldn't work.
