In this video, I will be discussing my preferred setups while targeting striped bass and bluefish from the jetty. As a general rule of thumb, a short rod with backbone would play best in your favor since this will mitigate the chances of high sticking. Secondly, this style rod will give you the horse power to move a big fish if necessary since inlets are the highways for these gators and cows.
