Geertje made a Christmas cake. Yvonne and Geertje are going to feed it to the horses and tell who are pregnant. Of course we already knew that Queen👑Uniek is in foal. But what other horses are in foal too?

I wonder about Richtsje, Sjirkje, and Pjirkje? I guess 3 foals for Stal G will be good for 2022 since you will have your hands pretty busy with the training of all the 2019 girls. Jildou, Lina, Lianne, Klaska, and Jacobien will keep us pretty busy. I look forward to seeing what those 5 do! 🧡🧡

Yay, I can't wait to see all the new babies!! Uniek is so funny, as y'all are making the cake, you see Uniek in the background eyeballing you the whole time and then as you go horse to horse you can hear all the noise she's making 🤣 and then as you get closer shw tries her hardest to reach her neck out!! Uniek "Hey get over her with that, I wasn't done" Uniek again "I said get over here with that, I'm the Queen, and now I'm pregnant, so get over here with that" 🤣 OMG I absolutely love Uniek

That is a lot of pregnant Friesian Horses! I look forward to seeing all the new babies and watching them being named. I’m especially excited to see Uniek’s and Walubet’s foals. What a joy to watch these amazing animals, so wonderfully loved and cared for. I love watching you teasing each other as you work. This is one of the brightest spots of my day. The beauty, hard work, and joy here made the pandemic manageable for me. Thank you seems not enough.

I really enjoy seeing the friendship between Yvonne and Geertje. What wonderful friends you must be! Thanks for revealing the new mothers for the new year. Congratulations to all, and especially good luck to Uniek and Frieda. Gea impressed me with her Christmas hat. I was not sure if she would be that patient, and it makes me happy to see her maturity. I am not sad that the young horses get another year before becoming mothers. They will be wonderful when it is their time. Every day... another peaceful view of those beautiful horses. We always gave our horse babies lots of carrots, apples, and sweet feed around Christmas. They always knew what was up and enjoyed it. Smart babies!

2022 will be so heartwarming and exciting to see all the mares progressing in their pregnancies and then new babies. Honestly, I was having a tough morning until watching this. I think this is the first time Gea has worn a hat. She was remarkably calm about it. It really brings out the color of her eyes :) (just kidding) And Ginny--you would think she wore a hat every day! It's like she doesn't even notice it's there. So pretty.

I look forward to the day when Ginny has a foal. She is such a beautiful mare, I’m sure her offspring will be very beautiful also. In the meantime, next year’s foals will no doubt be delightful!

Congratulations! It's always amusing to me how animals react when they want more treats. I can't imagine a thousand pound animal pushing at me for extra treats. Some days I can't even handle a 12-oz bird begging

That was so CUTE!! That was so funny how Gea was trying to put her nose through the halter instead of stay still for the hat XD I think she liked it, she graciously let Yvonne put it back on and straighten it out for her. I laughed at how big a bite Waloubet took compared to the others daintily nibbling and taking their time XD And Uniek going around the edges first, how funny!
