What I am most impressed with is the fact that most of them talked to the acting mother-in-law with a gentle voice and some even smiled. Honestly if that was me, seeing a pregnant lady getting forced to eat what she can't eat, I will probably get angry. The patience they have is admirable. Thank you for the video! i like when the woman said to the mother that "she certainly wishes her mother-in law would be tender" 👏😊👍 mother in law should treat their daughter in law well not by forcing her to eat eventhough she doen't want to eat

"She is more concerned about her baby than you are" THIS! Is so important... in laws want to impose so much, but it's the mother who worries and frets the most, especially during a first pregnancy... we should be supportive and considerate of that!

I am always impressed by how to younger generation steps in during these videos. They show such kindness and compassion. The girl in the hat giving her the bag to be sick in if she needs to be made me smile. I had terrible sickness during my pregnancy, I was being sick multiple times a day, barely kept any food down and was actually losing weight during my pregnancy. I avoided eating out of the house because of the fear of being sick in public. One time I had to be sick into a bin and a group of girls were making fun of me, I was embarrassed enough without that on top.

Comments on the bystanders’ sensitivity to the delicate in-law relationship are right on. What’s more, these folks are all caring, circumspect , and patient. That’s why they can speak calmly, without making a tense situation worse. On top of that, their remarks are calibrated to bring about the desired effect -- for the older lady to calm down and reflect on what she is doing. Not to mention throwing in a persuasive smile 1:09 which I’m sure will do wonders (if this wasn’t playacting).

I love this video , I am currently pregnant and I can also feel the smells on a completely different level , everything smells more by 150x and things I used to like I cannot eat anymore , and I get the sickness! Proud of the women who stuck up for her!

i can't hold my tears remembering my own pregnancy and how difficult it was. I was nauseous throughout the whole pregnancy but i have to endure and add at least 10kgs for my baby. I kept getting hungry but i kept getting nauseous. How nice to have ppl backing u up at those times.. coz sometimes u just feel like giving up.
