Yet another installment in my quest to create 24 preludes and fugues in all major and minor keys, this time comprised of a newly composed prelude and the definitive, slightly corrected version of one of my latest fugues, transposed one half step lower from F-sharp minor to F minor.
The somewhat frenetic, overworked character of this one reminded me a-posteriori of the aftermath of the myth of Arachne, whereupon Athena's rage and jealousy befell the weaving prodigy for her hubris and got her transformed into a spider to weave silky patterns for all eternity.
This video was scheduled for yesterday on occasion of J. S. Bach's 339th birthday, but could only be uploaded today on account of personal reasons which prevented me from doing so sooner.
