Founded in 1978, this formation, whose principle objective was to participate in the preservation of the island's oral heritage, has largely opened up to the outside world whilst staying anchored in its homeland. The group is characterized by an inventiveness that is continually renewed and exacting performances.
Depuis plus de trois décennies, l'ensemble polyphonique A Filetta est l’un des groupes phare du chant en Corse. Cette formation dont l’objectif premier fut de participer à la sauvegarde du patrimoine oral insulaire, s’est largement ouverte au monde tout en demeurant ancrée dans sa terre d’origine. Elle se caractérise par une inventivité toujours renouvelée et une interprétation exigeante.
