Your crossing wake video just showed up on my KZfaq feed. Now I have to watch you from the beginning. Started Great Loop searches about 4 or 5 years ago. And only 2 of the original ones I started watching put out more than a handful of videos and actually finished the loop. And they were from just a couple of years ago. Don't have much criteria to keep watching, but knowing you finished will get me to watch them all. Plus from what I saw in the last video, you're very relatable. Really want to do the loop, worried I'm gonna be the guy no one wants to travel with. Hahaha. Everyone loves the wife so shouldn't be a problem. If you're wondering what to do now, you cn always go for the platinum burgee

Wow!!, how exciting!!! Congratulations on the purchase of your beautiful boat and the start of your Great Loop adventure. My wife Kathy and I have the exact boat under contract and are awaiting the survey in a couple weeks. We are also planning to do the Great Loop, although most likely a year or two away. We are looking forward to following your adventures in the meantime.

We started the loop five years ago om the Sea Ray 48 MY, get yourselves some Sema headsets to communicate while docking. Saves a lot on angry screaming. Fair winds

Congratulations, you did the most difficult item The Day you cast off and that was "casting off". If you get the opportunity let us know how you are planning the overall adventure. Clockwise or counterclockwise. It can be done both ways. Some of us are not familiar with the local stops along the way and it's a little difficult to figure the general root you are taking. Hello, I am a Captain on Lake Erie, who also is going to be starting the great loop. I have hosted a few loopers at my slip/marina near Toledo Ohio on Lake Erie. I would like to invite you to spend a few days while on your loop here with us.. I make an AWESOME steak on the grill, called the "Captains Steak". A special treat from my years i the U.S. Coast Guard. I have a 1987 Marinette Sedan Bridge, she's only 32 feet, but she's an incredible ship.! When you get closer to the north end, Call me, PLEASE..!

I'm glad to have found your vlog. I lived for many years in the Kemah/Seabrook/ Clear Lake area where you began your journey. I now live in Carrabelle, FL, which as you probably know, is a stopover on the Great Loop where travelers get ready for the offshore passage to SW Florida. Good luck on your loop!

Have a super trip.. Once you get to Canada you'll most likely stay at the marina we keep our boat before heading up the Trent canal system. I'll keep an eye out for that SeaRay next summer :)
