Seems crazy that this functionality would not be made available without this workaround.

@MrJimmyhendrickx8 ай бұрын
@@ChuckNorris-bf5cj It's not, you have to activate the "Insert and Override Sequence" button. this tutorial creates a problem which actually isn't there. I'm using Premiere 24.00.

Am I the only one that this didn't work for? When draggin back the nested clip to the timeline, it just dumps the individual tracks. I ended up using Adobe Audition to create a new track as a work around.

what i thought about doing is just opening a new project putting als the tracks in and just exporting it as a mp4 to then use that as a "nested" audio

There is an icon next to the snapping (magnet) icon. insert sequences as nests or individual clips. Just select that and it should work.

If you have an issue with all of your audio tracks not coming into the sequence as one solid track, make sure you toggle off the "Insert and Override Sequence" button, next to the snapping toggle.

Forgive my very basic question, what and when would this be a better approach than using audios separately in the tracks? I guess it is like group layers in Ai? I don't use Pr much because it is fiddly but I want to start using it more. Ae too. Really appreciate short on point tutorials for this, so much wasted time on stuff that can miss the part you really want.
@ePICS82 жыл бұрын
It is helpful the same way it is if it were separate videos. You can organize it better and also move and apply effects to the nest instead of each clip inside of it.

Adobe, if you're listening, a 20+ year Adobe premiere user here. I cannot understand nor abide how badly the workflow has been trashed in the last few editions. It makes no sense. This should not be necessary. This is awful. 1) you should be able to drag all clips into New and you have all your audio nested. 2) you should be able to nest audio by selecting all, right click -> next. Whoever responsible for this eggregious decision and and those above who approved it should be removed from any decision making capacity. I don't understand why the community isn't up in arms about the obscene botching of nested workflows in 2022. Please restore some sort of classic mode so we don't have to suffer this insane degradation of this product.

Why so complex? If you just just create independent sequences and drag them to your main timeline with the "Insert and Override Sequence" button active the sound and picture are automatically nested together. If you import external xml's they are also instantly nested.

Adobe needs to automate all this... it could be just Right click > "Nest Audio"

@Jimmybuckrogers2 жыл бұрын
Hopefully you've figured this out by now but if not all you should need to do is go to File > Export > Media (or just hit ctrl+M), then set your format to H.264 (which is mp4) and set it to High Bitrate, then click the Export button.
