I loved the Doyle rundown. Not my music but his attitude was a great contrast to the forum elitist. He's a humble guy who could care less about tonewoods or true bypass and plays in iconic band. He just wants to chug and melt faces.

I hired Bonamassa over 20 yrs ago for a blues fest in Ontario. He was an old soul then, and a super easy act to work with. I’m not a huge fan, but I really like what Joe does for music today!

It’s awesome to get your perspectives on these rundowns. When you think about it, when these legends are gone and their music is all that’s left to remember them by, your rig rundowns are going to be used by players for many many years to come. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to all the players out there.

They Doyle rundown was the first rundown I ever saw, and the first John Bohlinger video. I remember coming away thinking 2 things: Doyle seems like a pretty nice, normal, humble dude AND man, this interviewer guy really asked some insightful questions and had a good rapport with the guest. I think a big part of the John Bohlinger rundown experience is that John KNOWS his stuff, and CAN really play, and asks great, insightful questions. KEEP ON DOIN IT!

My favorite is Adam Granduciel. The man is so excited to be doing his own Rig Rundown, and John just lets him talk (which is one of John's great strengths as an interviewer). Other favorite is Shakey Graves, mostly just since that's my guy, but I did enjoy seeing how he gets that huge sound on the hollowbodies.

Man, I really expected Duff McKagan on this list. That rig rundown was so cool! You could see what a guitar nerd he is and how excited he was to talk about his own gear! I'm telling you, it was something else; like a teen who recently started playing and spends hours reading guitar magazines to learn about the gear out there, except he really does own all that stuff and he is proud of everything he has

It had to be difficult to pick 10 out of all the artists you have talked to. I was really surprised to see Doyle up there. I loved the episode myself. I had no clue he built his own guitars or how heavy they were. The Bonamassa is my personal favorite that I often revisit. I had skipped over a few listed here but now I am excited to watch. Good varticle
