DoorDash is poised to let all of their dashers down by decreasing the pay in 2024. Uber Eats, GrubHub, Spark will also lower pay!

Uber has lowered its pay too. Getting less than a dollar a mile for most deliveries. They want us to take it all or you make no money. Orders will stop being sent if you take most of them. Its really gone downhill. I went from making 30 bucks and hour to 10-15. It wouldn't shock me if most of the drivers quit and the damand goes up. Higher pay will come back if they want deliveries to happen.

2 things when a restaurant is out of an item: restaurants have the ability to mark items as out of stock, but if that item is part of multiple menu items, you have to mark each one as out of stock. It’s easy to miss one. Also, the function that allows restaurants to reach out to customers glitches half the time, and all we’re able to accomplish is 1 ring and a dial tone. Nobody wants to waste time on the phone with DoorDash support, so that may be why they asked you to reach out. Or they’re lazy.

Yesterday I took a order by accident from Uber. It said it was 1 item from Walmart at 4.07. I get to Walmart. It 10 cases 24 pack of diet coke, 4 12 packs of different kinds of soda. 1 case of water and whole bunch of food. I had too go 5 flights of stairs. I called Uber customer support told them they had reevaluate the price because they had to have a 500.00 order and it was not fair only paying 4.07. The customer support told i could have cancelled it. Also I received zero tip.

I could be wrong, but it looks like you gambled with the hopes the customer would tip appropriately. Don't gamble, if the money is not right for the job. Cancel, cuz they got you to do heavy work for free. If you are the type who feels bad about canceling on a customer, then text them indicating that Uber manipulated you into taking their heavy order that you can not continue with at a payout of $4 as it will financially handicap you. In this way, the customer knows that it's Uber sending janky payout for their order. And if it's a customer who doesn't care, then let them continue to wait all day for their order. These days, drivers have to look at the job and recognize when it's no longer worth it when these companies show something different than what was indicated on the app.

Uber charges the customer 60.00 and I only get 7.00 thats with the tip. The base pay was only 2.00 and i got a tip of 5.00

So is it the customers paid almost 60 and 12 of that was in fee's, 2 went to us and 10 for Uber? You would have to order yourself that same amount of food and figure out the breakdown.

Yeah that was me talking about the steak dinner. I know prices are different but I'm seeing some things starting to be the same as well. I saw some crackhead apartment adds recently talking about $1500 for a one bedroom. I told them they are smoking major crack. If it's on a big lake or at the beach I can see that much.

Prioritize Uber Eats get to platinum.You'll start getting better orders. Door dash is garbage these days. I'm also in florida. To clarify i'm not saying take low ball offers. Decline decline. Uber won't penalize you for declining.

Run both apps on same phone and “pause” the one app when you do a delivery in the other. Then resume after trips.

Walking to a restaurant with a hot bag doesnt make you a loser, it makes our gig and craft look professional. Stop being ghetto, I have gotten cash tips from using hot bags, catering bags and etc...People wonder why tips are low, stop being a ghetto delivery driver you are killing it for us pro drivers!!! I got shit loads of cash tips by customers messaging me afterwards saying thx for delivering our food warm during these cold months here is a little extra for caring!!!!
