I find that I often find "the best move" in situations where you missed one, but *only* because of your explanations of what you're looking at; we - the viewers - have the "holistic view" advantage available when watching, and combined with your narration often puts us in a more objective seat as I'm sure you know. Anyway, suffice to say; whenever I have a situation where I could perhaps scream a move at the screen, it's still generally _your fault_ that I saw the move, and less to do with my own discipline. In allowing your explanation of the position so far, to direct where my eyes should be looking. I often think when playing my own games, that I wish I have had your voice explaining/measuring the moves I'd made to that point, as I'd then _definitely_ * know my best move :) *occasionally

Black misplayed opening a bit. They should attack knight on e4 by moving pawn to f5. This would allow black to capture d6 pawn and equalize easily with a lot of chances to gain initiative. Bishop to f5 was too passive, although it develops a piece, but it gives white time to consolidate and keep material advantage.

I was screaming the whole time why you weren't developing the dark square bishop. But it's true you are a victim to your own playing style, though that's not a bad thing because you complicate positions for your opponent, bypass good moves looking for better ones, and are always searching for zugzwangs. I think if you try to manifest a little Magnus in your games and seek out simple winning ideas without overcomplicating you can improve your playing style.

3:40 Pd6 was an inaccuracy as we ve seen in the analysis, I was surprised Agad played it...its hard to defend the pawn in the future and our knight on E4 is also hanging. Plus this pawn is important because its a center pawn and not a side pawn

why the very last bishop move is double question mark ? I though it is the only one, as you need to protect both c1 and e1. Only forced mate could be better, were is it ?
@Italiafani
@Italiafani 16 күн бұрын
For example Bd3 instead of Bg5 would have been forced mate. In that line you defend against mate because if Rc1+ you can block with Bf1. Seems like blundering a rook but if they capture it, you have Qh8#, and if they don't, it's still mate in 4.
