You and your mom are so kind to each other, I’m blown away. 😂 My family be like “give me that jar…stop touching that…move out the way!” Lol Becky…“mom would you be willing to hand me the pepper?” Mom…”certainly!” I almost fell off the bed 😂🤣. There’s some serious fruits of the Spirit in your family, the kindness and generosity are so beautiful to watch. ❤

@@caroln3564 they’ve cooked together many other times. I remember from Easter this year and maybe even Christmas or thanksgiving last year, Susan (Becky’s Mom) took the wheel for quite a few segments of Becky’s video. Here's a tip for your recipes print out. All the recipes you use over and over, print and laminate them. They stay clean, you can write on them with a blackboard marker, which will wash off with a damp cloth when you've finished. Easy to store in a folder labeled with 'Thanksgiving' or 'Christmas' etc. Saves time printing and are reusable.

Great idea, or you can slip them into sleeve protectors and into a binder. The nice thing about sleeves is that you can make notes on the page, about things you would change, or likes or dislikes from group. Maybe even which events you made them for.

My favorite videos of the whole year are the ones of you and your mom, prepping for large family gatherings! It’s bittersweet because it also makes me miss my beautiful mama so much! We lost her to cancer in 1996 and she ALWAYS made holidays so magical. We were incredibly poor but she would save change up, put back a few food stamps each month and even pick up cans, whatever it took, to try and give us a special day!!! We’ve lost 2 brothers and a sister, since losing her and the few that are left are pretty much scattered to the winds! I don’t tell you all of this to bring you sadness but to tell you thank you for helping me relive some of those very precious memories of being in the kitchen with my mama! Hi Becky and Becky’s Mom! Commenting today to tell you there is a name for the kind of planning you’re doing. The result is a production schedule that ensures on time delivery. I’m really enjoying your channel, looking forward to your 2023 garden!

I made your one-hour dinner rolls yesterday and they were such a HIT!! I can't believe how easy. You've made bread, rolls, and pie crust from scratch look so quick and easy that I decided to try for myself and was happy I did. It has been YEARS since I've made any of those things homemade!

This cracks me up: the son in laws don't like nuts [so don't em], family likes spicy, except Josh doesn't. I had no thanksgiving this year, due to an injury. I wouldn't be picky about pecans, or is it granny's stuffing, or is it spicy. I would embrace the abundance and have gratitude....!!! LOL What a spread you make! Like being with friends in the kitchen so it was comforting. I think Mama should make that corn custard pudding sometime. Sounds scrumptious.

I adore your Mom and Dad! I do the exact same organizational techniques that your Mom uses - the "backwards" timeline and setting out serving dishes with sticky-note identifiers on them! My husband thinks I'm a little silly, but now I can show him, "Look! Becky's Mom does it too!!" Happy blessed Thanksgiving and thank you for sharing this 🙂

Your husband thinks you are "a little silly" with your holiday meal preparation? I say WHO CARES what the menfolk think? If it were not for us women, these events would never be pulled off as well as they are. I would venture to say that most men would just open up a can of baked beans and plunk it down on the table with a bunch of spoons and say "have at it!" That would be the extent of their holiday meal planning and execution. LOL! To the menfolk in my family, I just say, "get out of my hair, stay out of my kitchen, stay out of my dining room, and just stay out of the way. Unless you're helping me, you are a hindrance." They gladly stay out of the picture until we women say "soup's on!" and then they come with their hungry appetites and devour everything and then roll in to the living room to recline, watch a football game, and go into a food coma.

Sadly, those days ended when the Lord called her home 3 years ago. Cherish each time you and your mom are together, for the years go by too quickly. Happy Thanksgiving to you, Josh, and all your family members (on both sides). God Bless and keep you. Much love from NW Louisiana.🥰

I do half cornbread and half regular and it keeps everyone happy!! I do like to my my own bread cubes so I can start introducing herbs and butter from the start. I do add sausage, cran-raisins, nuts, mushrooms and granny smith apples to my stuffing. 😋 Also, I use brown sugar where your Mom used honey. Roasted potatoes and carrots with herbs and brown sugar is my family's favorite side dish.

This video was so special to me. Loved seeing you and your Mom together give her a huge hug from me. My Mom has been gone now for 10 years and I miss her so much especially on Holiday because we did the cooking. We did it in our own kitchen though and then she brought her dishes to my house and that is where we ate. We usually had from 15 - 20 people. Most everyone has passed and others moved so we have only me, hubby, and grown son and daughter. I ordered a pre cooked meal and son will be heating it up as I am not very mobile right now due to health issues.
