After my morning greenhouse tomato check I head over to our fertilizer dealer to pick up some AMS to spread on our vegetable field and then we pot up some basil for Farmers' Markets, seed some winter squash and transplant the determinate tomatoes into the coco coir bags for trial...all in a days work.

I grew some Sakata STM2255, Roadster and the Red Snapper last year for the first time. Liked all three of them.

Just when I think I can settle on one or two of my favorite varieties a supposedly newer better one comes out and I always have to try it ha ha. I’ve probably planted 20 different varieties over the years.

Got you are getting to work ,working around here also ,i 'am knot working had to have a total knee replacement so out about 2 months ,so going to need a lot of videos to help get through this, my strawberrys are doing well they picked 2 quarts day ,you be safe and keep they coming

I see alot of corn residue in your sweetcorn patch there. Is that last years field or do u do rotations in your sweet corn. If u don't, do u find u fight disease very often? Thz for the video

Yes, that particular 2 acre field will be three years in a row of sweetcorn, the first time in my farming history I’ve ever done that. The rest of our 25 acres or so will be in last year‘s soybean fields. I’ve never had any disease issues at all other than a little rust from time to time and some northern corn blight on our really late plantings. Thanks Eric.
