Waltons, PNA and the rest of stationary shops even some schools once the list for stationary is sent. You send your stationary list to the store pay and they prepare it for you, it's your choice if you want it delivered home or you can collect it, then are also those who offer service to cover or mark the books..

I went through the same experience 2 weeks ago my girls started new school and were both anxious especially for the second language isiZulu coz it’s a requirement here in SA and they’ve never done isiZulu before. Another exciting video. When you said "This is already overwhelming & I haven't even started" I wanted to comment 'Ask the shop for assistance, cos we don't handle stationary lists' 😃but I realised that my comment will reach you too late. For lunch, you can pack anything the children likes really. I used to alternate sandwich fillings between Chicken & mayo, Chocolate spread, Cheese & Tomato with greens, Cheese spread , boiled egg & mayonnaise. Then I would throw in fish fingers or vienna sausage(cut in half), or cold meat on the side. Also switch between normal bread and hotdogs or hamburger rolls(bread) using same fillings. Then a small tub of yoghurt and a fruit or 2, a small pack of nuts or chips with juice (frozen or refrigerated overnight) should do the trick. Juice-wise,,,,,,A pack of 200 ml of 100% juices (Ceres, Liquifruit, Rhodes,Fruit tree or Krush brands are all okay) But even Oros ( which needs to be diluted with water) gets the job done just perfectly but they will need their own juice bottle for that.

Stationery shopping is overwhelming. Luckily, most Stationery shops here are very much helpful. You just hand them your stationery list and they will do it for you. For lunch you can do sandwiches, fruits, yoghurt, snack bar and bottle of water. All the best ❤

Chelsea seems quite nervous about the prospects of starting a new school. At the beginning she was the the life of the videos at the ice rings and now appears to have gotten into a bit of a shell. She is going to be totally fine and she will make friends easily if she relaxes especially because she speaks English. I think its more difficult for kids if they dont speak English but even then they still make friends in SA schools. Good luck guys. Enjoy the new adventure. Both of you will be fine.

Get a couple of 6 or 12 pack small water bottles from Woolies PLUS Woolies juice boxes or Ceres or Liquifruit. The other blended juice boxes used to make my son cough because of preservatives.

Oh guy's 😮.. one advice please.. never compete with public taxi's.. those guy's believe that they own the road and think they have more road Rights than other road users.. even the state cannot combat them.. very important advice you need to take 🤞🥂

Crayons are dry and oil pastels are brighter and have an oily smooth finish when coloring. I remember this because I loved oil pastels growing up.

I love the backseat view, feels like I’m the car with y’all😊 (except for the lighting lol) thanks Chelci! yah I love that they do that, stationery shopping is a headache hah I’m thankful we just had to pay a flat fee and it came in a box all ready for her from the school shop :p and her school is more strict everything has to be school colours (& logo) from the school shop or it gets confiscated, according to the rules anyway, I see the odd other-coloured hair ties or whatever but yah I want those nuts 🤤 if they’re vegan of course, but they seem lekker (the word for delicious, good, cool, etc) I’m learning zulu on duolingo and it’s easy so far (: it’s easier than english just different word order what’s the earbuds for, computer class? and you should google school menus, or use the taptuck app for the school tuck shop, my older one is in grade r and prefers fruits and veggies and like vegan meats and stuff so it depends on what they like and what’s on sale and stuff hey

Just an update I have been waiting for. I kinda like Chase's tiptoe shoes. For Chelsea , the best brand for girls' school shoes is Buccanear. I know I am late to the suggest the brand but this brand is the best. It's strong, it holds polish and it lasts. I prefer colour pencils though because the oily ones can be messy 🙂.All the best to the kiddies as they go to school. They must brace themselves to be entering the world of multiple languages. Our school are so diverse even people from other African countries with their languages .❤
